How do I get it to show that it is a free card because 0 entropy looks wierd (and also how do you do it to where it cost 1 quantum, but that quantum is random like animate weapon upgraded for example).

In the card builder, untick the box which says "Cost Icon" and just delete the X.

As for the card itself, I have a few questions. Can this swap pillars and pends, because then it might soon become not so useful? Can this swap immaterial/ protected permanents or not? Can I replace my opponents shield even if I took an Hourglass or weapon? Does a swapped shield or weapon replace the card in that slot already?

I can see lots of decks with daggers and probably Gravity Shields being used here but I don't see much else. Also, the ability doesn't really fit the name and art IMO.

Things that are protected stay protected. For example: if I had Maxell's Demon, I cannot target an immortal monster in the first place...same with Pandemonium, it just skips over. So, in this case, if there are protected permanents, it will select one that is not protected. If your opponent has no permanents...I have yet to decide if the card becomes playable still or not (this would give your opponent a free permanent which is still useful in some cases).

Now, I think you were most concerned with swapping, say a shield for a pillar. In this example, yes, it would work. Please note for cards like bonewall, the effect would be treated as if stealing the shield (you would only take 1).
