this card is probably a permanent.

it creates a duplicate board. it has the same number of creature and permanent slots.
immaterial creatures are not immaterial, and material creatures are immaterial in this dimension, so basically, it swaps the immaterial status of creatures.
regular creatures played into the alternate are immaterial in the original dimension.

permanents played in one dimension, cannot be targeted, or used in the alternate dimension.

weapons and shields, are the same in both dimensions, so is health/poison/etc. Elementals can pass freely from one dimension to the next.

my initial thought, is that you click the card to switch between dimensions.
if somehow the permanent is destroyed, cards played solely into the alternate dimension are destroyed.

I think that the opponent will need a copy of this card to interact with the alternate dimension.

this is probably an Aether card.

issues:

is this a fully permanent solution?
how long does the effect last?
does time pass normally in the alternate dimension?

basically, it creates an alternate board that can be used to play creatures in a different way and make two groups of permanents that can be used only in one state or the other.
