Upped War? Is it possible?

YES, thats right folks...it is ON

but not right now, we are currently maxed out on ongoing events (3 max at any time) PLUS, to make way for the actual war, this humongous of an event will start AFTER War#3 ended

so start upgrading* folks....its all upgraded, all the time (except Generals can choose to use up to 6 unupped cards)
detailed rules will come later, please dont inquire now


* best not to actually upgrade but save up the coins to upgrade just as a precaution, unless you already have them upgraded and all before this here posting

i like this idea but team sizes and master's would be the same or would there be diffrent master for this uped woar???
anyways it sounds fun also it be better for veterans and also allow lower score/knew players to join in the regular woar all in all a great idea even if i dont have that many uped cards i got enough cash to buy them  i hope

You don't have to buy all the cards in advance, but you must be able to build those upped decks when the time comes. Using unupped cards makes your deck illegal and you auto-lose.

Only by forcing everyone to use upped cards, can we keep this event balanced. Otherwise people will start complaining that the winning team won because they have more upped cards, not because they have more skill.

There are different metrics that can be used for determining entry allowances into an event like this.

In my opinion eligibility in general should be based on total net worth ... perhaps a minimum of 500,000 electrum is a good benchmark (that works out to around 500 upped cards total). To get onto a particular team, there could be a specific per-element completion requirement as well.

Statistics like that are not currently readily available or public information for most members of the community ... but that will be remedied long before upped War happens ...

Yep, we need some kind of minimum requirements to avoid a situation where player cannot build decks and lose.

I do think that 500 upped cards is probably too much though. We will never get 36 players with that many upped cards AND the willingness to join the event. I estimated a minimum of 200-300 cards in chat today, but that was just a guess. Also it of course depends on what these cards are.

I would absolutely love this event.
I haven't read the entire 10 pages since it would take me a week but I would definately want to join this event if it ever starts.

I usually like upped PvP better then unupped. (esp since I like to play with gravity...)

I see people posting their preferred roles/elements. Have you guys already started building teams or what?

The estimated time for this being put into action is still being debated.  Right now it's certain that the event itself and team building will occur after War 3 is over and done with, but how soon afterwards is the remaining question.

Well sure, although 100 upped cards plus 150K electrum is significantly better than 200 upped cards and no electrum. Calculating by net worth takes this into account.
