Treachery is brought back to the World of Elements. Ally together to take down enemies, challenge those who have items that you desire


1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.

Maximum amount of participants for this event is 16. If the event is full, you can still sign up as a reserve player, and will get a chance to join the event if any of the 16 players doesn't show up during round 1.


2. GETTING READY

You must follow the event rules for each round. Other than that, everything is allowed in deckbuilding.


3. ROUNDS
This event is a round based elimination tournament. Each round will consist of 2 phases: the Duel phase and the Challenge phase.


4. DUELS
Players have 4 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final.

Matches are best-of-five. The first player who wins 3 individual duels, wins the match.

You are allowed to change your deck (and mark)

It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.


5. CHALLENGES
You may choose to challenge another player in the Arena.
If the Challenger wins, he can steal an item from the Defender. If the Defender has no items, the Challenger may kill the Defender.
If the Defender wins, he can destroy an item the Challenger owns.

The Defender may use 6 extra upgraded cards.
The Challenger may ban 2 cards from the Defender. These bans stack across defense rounds.

6. AFTER DUELS
Winner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went.
The winner will receive an item from the Master of the Arena.



7. REWARDS
The winner of the event will receive the following forum award icon: or a new one if anyone bothers to make a cooler one.

Don't see what going around challenging people to steal their items has to do with arenas.

I feel like it's a good start but it needs something extra.

Like Draft events have teh drafting process.
Falling Empire has the different factions.
Colosseum has the character building.
Etcetc.

This is just 16 people challenging eachother and battling right?

Don't see what going around challenging people to steal their items has to do with arenas.
The idea is that the duels are the face of the arena, but thievery happens when the duels are done, and treachery takes over

Yeah, I think I can work clans/partnerships in there somewhere... However, the idea with this even is that there are few rules, and anything goes. There will be special rules for each round like Grid did.
