Each player would start with 2 elements.
You can use only the elements you own.
When you beat someone, you steal one of their elements. ( obligated to be one of the elements they used in the deck) So you win an element, and your opponent loses it.
I didnt think about this in a tournament format, but more in a league-like. what i mean is you can play vs anyone at anytime.

This idea is still in developpement, please comment and suggest.

It's going to need alot more.  What are the win conditions?  How are you eliminated?  If you defeat an opponent who has only elements you already have do you get to "double up" on that element or do you get no benefit?  Wouldn't using a "league format" similar to TCOBO result in players who can win several quick matches in the first day having a huge advantage over players only able to play once or twice a week?
Carpe Diem!!

I wasnt here for TCOBO, but yeah what you are saying seems right.
Hmm, I'll have to re-think the whole system most probably
