Rock! Paper! Scissors! - Rules
Original idea by: furballdn  |   Developed by: furballdn with help from annele   |   Art by: I dunno I found it on google lol|   Organized by: I dunno. You?

Players choose a different sign each round, and are granted access to special cards! Players then face off amongst each other to earn points!

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.

2. GETTING READY
- You may also use up to 6 upgraded cards.

3. Deckbuilding
Players must PM which sign they use to the event organizer each round. Depending on which sign they choose, they gain access to certain cards.

The following cards (upped and unupped) can only be used by players who choose rock:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vh 52j 52o 55l 590 5bu 5bv 5c7 5cg 5f9 5fa 5ie 5lb 5oe 5rh 5rr 5s4 5ru 5ur 620

The following cards (upped and unupped) can only be used by players who choose paper:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vd 4vg 4vn 4vp 500 52l 52r 55p 55r 55v 568 58s 594 595 596 59c 5c2 5c3 5c4 5c5 5c6 5f5 5f8 5fb 5fk 5i9 5ia 5ib 5if 5ih 5ld 5lg 5li 5lj 5lk 5og 5ol 5oo 5rj 5rk 5ro 5rp 5uo 61q 61t

The following cards (upped and unupped) can only be used by players who choose scissors:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vk 4vl 4vm 52n 52s 534 55q 560 561 562 592 593 5c9 5f7 5fe 5ic 5ii 5oj 5om 5op 5p0 5rs 5um 5uq 5uu 5v0 5v1 5v2 5v8 61r 621 622 624

The following cards (upped and unupped) are banned for ALL players:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4t6 4t7 4ta 4td 4te 4tf 4th 4ti 4tj 4tk 4tl 4tm 4vj 5ig 5io 5lm 5ri

All other cards can be used freely.

4. FINDING DUELS
Players have 5 days to make the fight happen. The first two days, the players can fight amongst each other. If after those 2 days a player still does not have 2 games played, the event organizer will create brackets and match up the remaining players. Each player must play 2 games each round or else they will forfeit games they do not play. Players do not have to reveal what sign they have picked each round, and are encouraged to deceive other players by posting in the thread to announce what they might have chosen that round, but they must still play by the sign they PMed to the event organizer that round.

5. DUELS

Matches are best-of-three.

The first player who wins 2 individual duels, wins the match. You are allowed to change your deck (and mark) by swapping cards  but you only have 3 minutes to do so. If it takes you longer than 3 minutes, it is considered a forfeit and the other player gets the win.

winning 2-0 gives a player 2 points
winning 2-1 gives a player 1 points
losing 1-2 gives a player 0.5 points
losing 0-2 gives a player 0 points

It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.

6. WINNER
The player with the most points at the end of 6 weeks is the winner of the event.

7. REWARDS
The winner of the event will receive the following forum award icon: TBD

Suggestion:
1. Sideboard? The rock paper scissors selection should be enough to restrict deckbuilding.
2. Why is the rock paper scissors allow list so different? What base do you use for those?
3. Multiply the score gained by 2 to make it an integer.
4. To support 1, you can make a different restriction each round.
"Neque porro quisquam est, qui dolorem ipsum, quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit."
"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain."

1. The sideboard thing is there from the default pvp event formatting, which is horrible. We seriously need a new one.
2. Rock=rush paper=control/stall scissors=break/denial
3. Psh. Integers are so mainstream
4. There is no sideboard.

A typical Rock deck should be able to easily be a typical Scissors deck which should be able to easily beat a typical Paper deck which should be able to easily beat a typical Rock deck.
