3. BRACKETSThis event is a
double-elimination tournament and uses two kinds of brackets: winners brackets and losers brackets. Everyone starts out in the winners brackets. When you lose the first time, you will drop down to the losers bracket. When you lose the second time, you will be eliminated from the event. The final match will be between the winner of winners brackets, and the winner of losers brackets.
In short, if you lose two times, you are out. If you don't lose two times, you win.
4. DUELSDecide a time that best suits you and your opponent. You have 5 days to do so. If no time is agreed on, the person who was more active in trying to find a time will gain the win.
Once you have a time sorted with your opponent, PM the organiser with your chosen deck and the time you have settled on. You will get PMed back the sync-in you will use, set up for the upcoming match. Depending on when you and your opponent go to this sync-in, you may get an advantage by know your opponent's deck before they know yours. Changing anything in the sync-in is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN before the match. The organiser will keep a record of all the matches, and will review each sync-in after the round. It is possible matches will be watched as well.
Any form of cheating is taken
VERY seriously, and will be dealt with in the way cheating is usually dealt with.
Matches will occur in the style of the
Card Idea Battles with one exception; there will be no use of external (or internal) RNGs. Feel free to go there and familiarise yourself with the style of play.
There will be a sync-in created for these matches.
YES. You choose your starting hand, AND any cards you draw.
