Rematch ! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=18079.msg230338#msg230338

You've been beaten. You had a very bad luck. You should have won ! One solution : rematch !

You chose the wrong deck. Yours was powerful, but got countered. One solution : rematch !

You're a good deckbuilder. You lost. You have plenty of hidden resources. One solution : rematch !

Is this event, losing isn't a fatality. You'll be able to continue playing if you believe you'll win the battle. Be careful : forfeit isn't always a bad thing...

Rules

Any player with an Elements, Forum ans Chat account can join. There is no restriction on the number of players. Each player start with 5 Continue Points and 5 Victory Points. You get eliminated of the event if you run out of Victory Points.

All battles are best-of-one by default. The loser can ask for a revenge, by paying a Continue Point. The battle becomes best-of-three (or 5, 7...) until the loser gives up. Anytime after a game, the current winner (if there is one) can "lock" the score and end the match by paying 2 Victory Points.

At the end of the battle, the winner gain one Victory Point, the loser loses two Victory Points. The winner also gains 1 Continue Point for each 2 points between the scores.

I really need to clarify the rules...

Deckbuilding

Players may use up to 6 upgraded cards in their decks.

There are no other restrictions on the first game. If there's a rematch, the loser can choose if the next two games will be played with the same decks. If not, the two players choose two decks to fight with in the two games.

Matchups

There will be Swiss matchups, based on remaining Victory Points. The Event will last until we have a winner. If there's an uneven number of players remaining, a random player will get a bye, and won't lose nor gain any points. A single player can't get a second bye unless all other players already got one.

If a players decides to forfeit, he loses three Victory Points. The "winner" does not receive any Victory Point.

What if there are a uneven amount of poeple joining, how do you decide the bye?
How many people can join the event?
Is there any deckbuilding restrictions at all? Upgrades allowed or not?
How do the forfeits work? do you lose any point for a forfeit?

Currently editing the original post... Done.

Bye are decided randomly.

No restrictions on the number of players.

6 upped cards maximum (I thought about limiting the number of upped cards to the number of Victory Points of your opponent, but it was already complicated enough).

A forfeit costs 3 VP, and the other players gets nothing.

It still needs work ^^ Thanks for reviewing !

Why not ? I'll try to clarify the rules, with examples and all the details needed.

It should be done sometime this week.
