1. HOW TO SIGN UP?Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.
Maximum amount of participants for this event is
48. If the event is full, you can still sign up as a reserve player, and will get a chance to join the event if any of the players doesn't show up during round 1.
2. GETTING READYYou will be sent a PM with an account name and password. When you log in, choose your designated element as your starter deck.
-Each player will have time to develop their account and complete all but the 500 quest, and may only reach a maximum of 175 score during this period.
-Once development time is over, accounts are checked that they did not break any rules, and those that do are eliminated.
-During the PvP phase, players may reach a maximum of 250 score.
3. BRACKETSThis event will be a series of
single-elimination tournaments followed by a
round-robin tournament. Players with the same designated element will face each other in a single-elimination tournament, and the winner of each element will move onto the round-robin tournament.
-Single elimination is one set of brackets where the winner moves on and the loser is eliminated.
-Round-robin is where every player faces each other, and in this event, the player with the least wins is eliminated, and the process repeats until only one stands. If more than one player has the least wins, the elimination will be determined using the record between those players only. If no elimination is certain after this point, the elimination will be random.
4. DUELSPlayers have a certain amount of time to complete all of their matches. The single-elimination tournament rounds last 4 days, while the round-robin rounds vary depending on the size. They must contact their opponent(s) using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If any match does not happen, the most active player receives a win. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final.
Matches are best-of-three. The first player who wins 2 individual duels, wins the match.
You are allowed to change your deck (and mark) between matches. Each deck may only contain 8 cards not of the player's designated element. It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
5. AFTER DUELSWinner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went.
Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of their decks.
6. WINNERWinner of the
round-robin tournament is the winner of the event.
7. REWARDSThe winner of the event will receive the following forum award icon: TBD
