Refinement
Players start with a completely unupgraded 30-card deck. They gain something for each win.
1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.
2. GETTING READY
You can build any deck, with some restrictions.
- You can't start with any rare card
- You can't start with any shield
- You can't start with any upgrade
- You can't use Novas/Immolations
- You start with 30 cards
- For every match win, you can use a banned card or two (depeding on amount of players) or add a card or two to your deck. (ex. You won 4 times, you can use 4 novas/2 novas, 2 staves/ 2 novas, 2 upgraded cards/2 supernovas)
3. BRACKETS
Players will be matched using Challonge's Swiss Tournament system. Every players has to fight until the end.
4. DUELS
Players have 90 hours to fight. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final. Also, save every opponent you PM, and BCC organizers.
Matches are composed of FIVE BATTLES, this means that possible results are:
5-0
4-1
3-2
You can change your deck how many times you want, but not after a desync.
It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
We take all kinds of cheating very seriously. If you get caught cheating, you automatically lose and will be banned indefinitely from all Elements community PvP and PvE events. So please play fair.
5. SCORING SYSTEM
5 points per match win.
0 points per tie.
1 point per match lost.
2 points per set win.
(Yes, this means that you get at least 11 points for a win.)
6. AFTER DUELS
Winner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks, using the right image-builder.
Not posting decks will occur in point penalty.
7. WINNER
The winner is the person who scores most points.
8. REWARDS
Reward is a cool icon.
