Man what a bummer. I took an inventory on my rares and ups and re-read the contents of the booster packs. I don't think I could play late game. I don't even have any nymphs or marks. I have a decent stock of shards and weapons though. I was surprised when I actually counted them all.

Don't worry too much. There will be other times this event will happen if it gets enough praise.
Also, I may add a selling option in the card-shop, so if you get a nymph or mark you don't have, you can sell it.

Who and how is determined whats in the boosters?

Make have a booster pack per element which is mono. Otherwise it sounds like slow rainbows everywhere.

1st question: RNG

And to the other thing: There are not enough cards in this game to do that. It would be too easy to get the deck you want to really quickly. The event is about being able to skillfully design decks with what you have, may that be a randomly generated card pool.

Maybe make the boosters like SoSe.  Have 3~4 cards be from a chosen Element and the rest are chosen from the others.

That's a possibility. I'm going to have to get more feedback on it though before I make any final decisions.

I might have to lower the pillar count for the booster pack then (especially bronze) because it would be weird to get 10 pillars of one element.
Or do you mean they are give the option to choose all of the pillars, cause if you do, that seems a little too easy.
I want to challenge players with whatever elements and pillars they are given.

If everyone would like a change to the pillar options in the boosters then it will be done.



EDIT: With ji's help, I created a Sell option, beginning in the second round.
I also changed the Bronze Pack to hold 8 pillars and 6 common cards.

2 - The way I see it now, losing matches doesnt affect you much at all ( only 5 gold). Perhaps make it more like 10?

Maybe the contestant can choose what type of pillars (s)he wants (e.g., "I want all aether" or "I want time, light, and darkness"), but not the number, which is determined by a RNG? Not sure how well that would work.

Also, I support the idea about a maximum number of rounds. 10 rounds at 3 days each is a month. 20 rounds (hey, it may take a while for the last few to lose 3-0!) is two months. This could easily stretch into an extremely long commitment without some kind of a cap.
