Traitor
Players build a deck with only two Elements they choose in the beginning. This is a Team based Event.
1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.
A team can not have more than 6 players in it.
2. GETTING READY
Choose 2 Elements no one else has in your team and build a deck of any size (from 30 to 60 cards).
- Restrictions of upgraded cards may be discussed.
- You can not change your two elements, except when you are forced to (see below)
- Your Deck may only contain cards of those two Elements, except for pillars and mark, which can be chosen freely. Mono decks are allowed.
3. BRACKETS
Pairings will be chosen randomly, only restriction: you can't battle someone who is currently in the same team. (it is possible that a traitor will have to fight against his old teammates, traitor vs traitor is also possible)
Losers will leave their team and become traitors (not in any team). A traitor who loses is out.
When a traitor wins, he switches the elements with his opponent and joins his opponents team.
When all players left are either traitors or not in their original team, all players left join their original team using their original elements.
4. DUELS
Players have 4 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final.
Matches are best-of-three. The first player who wins 2 individual duels, wins the match.
You are allowed to change your deck (and mark) at any time, as long as you stick to your two elements, but you only have 3 minutes to do so. If it takes you longer than 3 minutes, it is considered a forfeit and the other player goes to next round.
It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
5. AFTER DUELS
Winner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks.
6. WINNER
The team which is the last one remaining is the winner of the event (the original team members win, even some are out).
So if your current team wins but you are not originally from that team, you lose anyway.
7. REWARDS
There will (probably) be a award icon and some other stuff.
