1. HOW TO SIGN UP?Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.
After signing up, write a PM to the organizer, containing your 3 picked Characters with Name, Class and Skillpool
Name can be pretty much anything, but it has to be 3 different names.
Classes explained below at 2. CLASSES.
Skillpool must follow the rules of your picked class. This will be 60 cards which you can use for deckbuilding, these cards will be unupped in the Skillpool; Assassins may only use up to 4 copies of any card (excluding Pillar/Pend/Mark Card), all other Classes can have a maximum of 8 copies; no Shards.
2. CLASSESThe 4 available classes are:
Mage, Warrior, Ranger and Assassin
When fighting your character gains beneftist depending on your opponents class:
Each class also has restriction on their skill pool:
Mage: Doesn't need the help of material belongings. (no permaments, except Pillar/Pend). Banned:
Warrior: Can't use destructive Spells. Banned:
Ranger: Doesn't like close combat creatures. (can only use Airborn Creatures) Banned:
Assassin: Can't help but prepare for anything possible. (must use 35 cards or more in deckbuilding, may only have up to 4 copies of any card (except Pillar/Pend/Mark Card) Banned:
But there are also benefits for each class:
Mage: Is a strategist. (can exchange up to 6 cards after the first duel)
Warrior: Is very strong. (can use +3 ups)
Ranger: Is good at throwing stuff. (FW can always be upped)
Assassin: Is a glass cannon. (Loser recieves +50% Damage, round down)
3. BRACKETSThis event is a
Last Man Standing tournament. Players will be matched up randomly with a random character, but the Organizer will try to avoid matchups with players that already had a match together.
The last player to still have a Character left will win.
4. DUELSPlayers have 4 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final.
Matches are best-of-five. The first player who wins 3 individual duels, wins the match.
You are NOT allowed to change your deck during a match, the only exception is the Mage, who can swap or add/remove up to 6 cards after the first duel.
It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
5. DECKBUILDINGYou may only use cards from the matched up Character's Skillpool.
Assassin can only use a minimum of 35 cards and only up to 4 copies of each non pillar card. (if he has less than 35 cards left in the skill list, he must use all remaining cards)
Banned cards:
- all Shards
6. AFTER DUELSWinner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went, preferably in RPG style.
Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks. Cards not used in the duel will stay hidden.
Damage recieved depends on the result:
Result | Winner | Loser |
3-0 | 0 | 15 |
3-1 | 3 | 12 |
3-2 | 6 | 9 |
Both players will pick half the Damage dealt (round down) from the opponents deck, these cards will be discarded. Then they will send a PM to the organizer, saying which cards they discard from their Skillpool.
Conversion: At this point, you can also convert any number of your cards into Pillars/Pends of the according element. So Frogs will turn into Life Pillars/Pends and Cats will turn into Entropy Pillars/Pends.
If your Character has a Skillpool of less than 30 cards, that Character will be declared unfit to fight, so he won't be chosen anymore for matchups.
7. REWARDSThe winner of the event will receive the following forum award icon: [*img]awesome symbol[/img*]
