1. HOW TO SIGN UP?Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.
Maximum amount of participants for this event is
32. If the event is full, you can still sign up as a reserve player, and will get a chance to join the event if any of the 32 players doesn't show up during round 1.
2. GETTING READYWhen the Signup is open, the Organizer has opened 4 Topics, each containing 5 stacks of 6 random cards (non rare). - 1 Topic only for Creatures with skill, 1 Topic Creatures without skills, 1 Topic Spells, 1 Topic Permaments
- Chose 1 stack from each topic and PM your choice to the Organizer.
- Do this during the Signup phase. If you fail to do this in time, you will not be added to the event.
3. PHASE 1: Fill your Purse!(2 Weeks, or 3 days for each Topic)
After the Signup phase, the Organizer will hand out random pairings for each stack of Cards, in each of the 4 Topics.
(If there is an odd number of players in one stack, the one who gets a bye gets a lucky free win. The Organizer will make sure, if possible, that the same player won't get more than one bye in Phase 1)
Find your opponents and set a time to have a match with each one of them.
- The match will be best of 3.
Deckbuilding:
- You may only use cards from your 4 chosen stacks (and any Pillar/Pendulum/Mark)
- You may use up to 2 copies of each card (if you have 2x any card, then you may use it 4 times, or 6 times for 3x any card)
The winner of each match choses 3 cards in the according Stack, the loser gets the other 3.
If a match doesn't happen the organizer may chose a winner if that player was clearly more active trying to find a time shedule.
If no one was clearly more active, then both players lose. -> The organizer choses the 3 best cards in the according stack and both players recieve the remaining 3.
If a player is not happy with the cards he recieved, he may choose to drop out after Phase 1.
4. PHASE 2: Empty opponents Purse! The 12 cards you won in Phase 1 will be doubled, giving your 24 cards into your Purse.
Additionaly, you will now be able to chose any 16 more cards and add them to your Purse.
- Each player has now a total of 40 Cards, these are openly visible by everyone.
The Organizer will hand out random pairings for each Round.
- Matches will be
best of 5Deckbuilding:
- You may use any card in your Purse and any Pillar/Pendulum/Mark.
- You may only use 1 copy of each card in your Purse!
- You may only use 1 Deck for all games during a Round.
The Winner decides: Money or Life!
Money: The winner choses 5 cards from opponents deck and steals them. (the opponent loses these cards)
Life: The winner choses 5 cards from opponents deck, opponent discards them and 5 additional cards from his Purse.
For each match the loser has won, he may chose 2 card from then winner's Purse and throws them away. (may not chose cards the winner stole this round)
- The loser may drop out of the event, if either he choses to do so (because his Purse doesn't support any decent deck) or his Purse has less than 10 cards (with exactly 12 cards left, he may still play)
