OldTrees' Portfolio
About Me
I am a card designer because I want to have a beneficial effect on Elements the Game and commenting in the In Development forum wasn't enough.
I believe that variability at the deck level is the key to fun in ETG. As such cards that are specialized towards increasing such variability like Pendulums, Cremation, Supernova, Fallen Elf, Fractal and Crusader are the best type of card to add. My approach to card design is an investigative one. Using Phantom Fox's research into unupped creatures I provided a working model for theoretical balance. I also tend to suggest cards in a way that explores the communities opinions about balance related to cost for old mechanics like Absorb or new mechanics Like Ambush. However my biggest motivation is seeking to understand and provide what would most help Elements the Game as determined through the opinions of the players.

The cards below are in reverse chronological order. It does not contain joint projects that I did not spearhead.
