Too my knowledge racism isn't a policy of Republicans, so those "Republicans" discussed earlier are obviously not republicans.

Ah yes, John Rabe, the Nazi of Nanking.

The Rape of Nanking was an absolutely horrendous atrocity perpetrated by the Imperial Japanese Army which killed 300000 in the early days of the Sino-Japanese War.

However, there were a few admirable, courageous and dignified Europeans and Americans (Oskar Schindlers within their own right) who did their utmost to save as many innocent civilian lives as possible. John Rabe, though officially registered with the Nazi Party, was one of them.
Sso basically he joined but didnt follow their actions or views, so he was a nazi in title only right? So in my view, thats not a nazi at all.
Precisely. It seems that he was actually naive as to the evil that was sweeping his own country while he was heroically defending Chinese civilians at Nanking, and remained unaware of the true nature of the Nazi Party even after.

Nope, but isolationism was, which unfortunately drew actions that's very similar to racism.  It's just like communism, it idea isn't evil, it's how it's used/implemented, I wouldn't say the Republican Party itself is evil, but I would say some (I don't know the actual numbers now, but come onnnnn, expenses for S&M clubs?  :s) of its members near the top have done many questionable things which is significant to give the impression that it is evil.

Yahoo News is Democratic media.  To support my point, I quote an article about the rally for McCain in Newport News VA during the 2008 presidential campaign-

"McCain coughed and sounded hoarse at a chilly rally in Virginia."

I was there.  I listened to the whole rally.  McCain didn't cough once or sound hoarse.  It wasn't even that chilly.  That was deliberately trying to mislead voters by making McCain seem frail and sickly.

Don't automatically trust a news source.

fox news is about the only media that ISNT democratic. And since it isnt democratic, people automagically think it is biased. I listen to it, and I havent heard a single thing they say that isnt supported by facts.

The OP linked to a story about SC state senator Jake Knotts calling governor candidate Nikki Haley (a fellow Republican) a "raghead." Some here have dismissed this incident by saying that the news is biased.
  • Does anyone deny that Knotts said this? He admits saying it and has apologized.
  • Is anyone defending what Knotts said?
  • Do you think that there is some context that justifies the remark, and that context was missing in biased news stories?

I had a reply to the above post, but then this occurred to me.  I deleted it.

Okay, revelation.
You can argue until you're blue in the face about which party's better, but you know what?  It's never going to get anywhere.  You're just going to hate each other because you have different views.

You can ignore me, but don't say I didn't warn you if this thread turns out like the comments page on http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0610/SC_Republicans_condemn_raghead_comment.html

You don't watch The Daily Show, do you?

The top 10 Fox News Distortions (http://www.spitefulcritic.com/home/10-most-ridiculous-fox-news-lies-creative-edits-and-half-truths)

Fox news has repeatedly marked Republicans as Democrats --when they're guilty of sex crimes. (http://wizbangblue.com/2009/06/24/fox-news-lies-and-calls-republican-gov-sanford-a-democrat.php)

Fox News watchers are overwhelmingly more likely to have (incorrect) extreme views on legislation that FOX doesn't like. (http://www.newscorpse.com/ncWP/?p=1370)

Fox News blatantly lies aobut Obama's campaign donation (http://dungeondiary.blogspot.com/2010/06/fox-news-lies-again-surprised.html)

30 more lies Fox News has told. (http://mediamatters.org/columns/200910270002)

And, just for fun, the court case that FOX news relies on to get away with lying constantly on the air. (http://www.relfe.com/media_can_legally_lie.html)

In short, while individual people who watch FOX might be totally cool and OK, the network consicously and deliberately engages in a legal smear campaign against everything Democratic, and it's watchers as a subsection of American society are ignorant, loud, and fearful because of what FOX is doing to their brains.

WHAT! The media lies!!!!!

Ya know, I could do the exact same thing for EVERY other news group out there and find just as many links...

Heres a few good ones...

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=CNN+lies (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=CNN+lies)
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=NBC+lies (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=NBC+lies)
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Media+lies (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Media+lies)
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=democrat+lies (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=democrat+lies)
its really not hard,

and fox lies I get About 2,650,000 results
Cnn Lies I get About 4,980,000 results
So I could find more CNN lies than fox lies according to that... anyone can post links at any time to anything they want, theres always dirt on each side
