The US, after realizing that regime change in Egypt is inevitable, is supporting Omar Suleiman despite the fact that he has no interest in promoting democracy in Egypt. (

But who is Omar Suleiman? That New York Times article, perhaps out of deference for the US government, leaves out some very interesting facts:
Omar Suleiman helped the US torture accused terrorists, even torturing at least one person himself. (
