While I know these things are far from complete and are not entirely accurate, it would still be interesting to get a base line political orientation of a lot of the community members just to see how we fall in the left/right and Authoritarian/Libertarian spectrum.

Kicked me back as

Economic Left/Right - 3.75
Social Libertarian/ Authoritarian : 3.33

So I'm in the Authoritarian Right

On the one OT found I scored Right: 5.11, Authoritarian: 3.7

This test had a bunch of misleading questions or ones with no right answer.

However it at least was accurate to within 1/4 of an axis.

I agree this one is quite short, and has some poor questions to it, but I figured more people would be inclined to do a quick short one to some of the longer more complete ones  out there.

I'm typically a bit further right than this one shows myself.

I agree with OldTrees, a lot of these questions seemed to be designed by someone with a clear idea of what they thought was wrong and what they thought was right and designed the questions to suit.
For what it's worth, here's mine:

Economic Left/Right: 3.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.15

I wish Dennis Kucinich was President. What he believes is closer to my views than even Ron Paul's.

It seems that our political opinions greatly differ, though I'm curious if left-liberals are dominant or if the last 3 results are just coincidence.

I see what you mean about the questions. I would have been nuetral on a quite a few of them.

They seemed to be written to elicit strong reactions. Any idea where to find a better quiz?
