I voted for the Green party, even though they have zero chance of winning in my riding.  I don't think the whole first past the post thing works in a system with multiple parties, but I doubt there will be any change there anytime soon.

I wish more people had payed attention, we had like the second lowest voter turnout of all time.  Most people didn't know/care about the prorouging (contempt) of parliment, or the fiasco that was the G8 summit (too bad I don't live in the conservative riding of Huntsville Ontario).  Then at the same time you see people fighting and dying for their rights in the middle east, it makes me sad that we're so complacent in Canada, eh.

thats exactly why the conservatives got into power. nobody cared or wanted to pay attention. i followed the campaign enough to know a few things.
