Osama wasn't technically the 'leader' of Al-Qaeda. Most of his actions were advised from Al-Zawahri, who is still under hiding. And there are lots of 'Bin Laden's in the world, since some Muslims feel suppressed under Western influences. The suppression can sometimes cause a man to actually do 'something' to stop it, whether violence or peaceful protest. He took the wrong path and killed innocents. I feel bad for the Muslims who are suppressed, but terrorism isn't a way to stop it.

I like conspiracy theories as much the next person, but I doubt US would announce this unless they were 100% sure about the identity. I mean just think how embarrassing it would be if Bin Laden suddenly made a new video where he said he was not dead?

Actually if they had played it smart, they would have made that video beforehand, in case Bin Laden ever got killed. They could now release that video where Bin Laden says US killed the wrong person, making Bin Laden basically live forever.

I don't think it's that easy to deny. His son was also killed. Even if they tried something like that, it would be very dubious if he never mentioned recent world events (as he always does) that occurred after his death.

Well, it did happen before. Osama was supposedly 'killed' in 2001, by a bomb blast, and there was a video released of his burial. And the Pakistani president confirmed his death. Pretty much the same story happened, except this time, it was confirmed by US.

here are 2 questions : Why didn't they capture him, he had informations and they just killed him?
                                    They killed him compared his DNA and burried him in 24 hours ? (I thought DNA testing needs couple of days and add transporting DNA to laboratory)

Yes, I am only glad in the same sense as I would be at the execution of any other mass murderer: glad that he can do no more harm.  Osama was still a human life, and from his perspective, his death would be a horrible thing.  (Except for the whole virgins thing, I guess...)
