Coming from me, being on the front page of Youtube doesn't mean anything.  Videos with 0 views, regardless of content, still show up because they are from featured channels.

Back on topic, I support BP's debating points, as well as the idea that a Muslim building doesn't need to be built so close to such a site.

building a mosque (did i spell that right?) at ground zero isnt wrong at all. its space that is vacant. it was not the muslim faith that bombed us, it was a group of terrorists. a simple group of terrorists shouldnt be considered the ambasidors for an entire religion. its thinking that they do is what causes mass racism, which is one of the only 3 things in the world i TRUELY HATE.

Besides that, I would say the same thing if Christian radicals bombed a building in another country, I wouldn't want a church built so close to where radicals of that religion killed so many people.  I don't care about the color of their skin.

Its not a matter of religious discrimination. No one assumes all people are like that. If they do, then they need to get out more. They were from that religious group though, that is the only point I am trying to make. As dragoon and I have both pointed out,  we would feel the same way if it was a Christian religion. Peoples feelings need to be taken into consideration, even if someone thinks they shouldnt feel that way.

If the bombers on 9/11 had done so representing the Muslim religion, then I would agree with you, no mosque anywhere near the site.

But Muslims didn't bomb us on 9/11.

The mosque is NOT our enemy.

And the analogy about "if christians bombed mecca" makes no sense because 9/11 was not caused by Muslims.

I said it before, and I'll say it again.  9/11 was caused by a Saudi Arabian power struggle.  Osama Bin Ladin is a member of the Saudi Royal family, but he did not support the current leadership.  He couldn't overthrow the leadership because the Saudi Arabian government had too many resources, fueled by American spending.

So he decided to get American's to stop paying for Saudi oil.

We were too ignorant to fall for his trap.

In summary, it is perfectly okay for a mosque by ground zero.  Muslim's had nothing to do with it.  If you wish to be respectful, stop driving cars by ground zero.  Or stop driving cars in general.  Because every drop of oil you use comes from the middle east, and it's used to fund armies on both sides, perpetuating a never ending war.

But that's too difficult of a concept to grasp, isn't it?

That list is innacurate.  The official list from the department of energy says otherwise.

While the number one source of oil imports in Canada, the number two source is Saudi Arabia.  It's why America will NEVER go to war with Saudi Arabia, their current administration likes us too much.  That's also why we were so quick to attack Osama.  He was threatening our Saudi oil and relations.

You'll also find the increased amount of oil gained from Canada is a direct result of 9/11, and the increased oil consumption from China/India.  Pre-9/11 most oil came from Saudi Arabia.

I don't blame Muslims, I never said I did.  What I am saying is that we cannot act as if the radicals were not associated with the religion.  Nobody is being punished by not allowing the building to be built, instead we just don't want another to be built so close to ground-zero.

Does there really need to be a 101st?
