With YOUR reasoning Eva that means all superior races are violent people.
I never said that. I said
IF. I never said that all superior races automatically will murder us. But if they did, that's their choice and we have nothing to do with it. We can fight back, but there's no rights involved.
I guess above all else I believe that free will automatically overrides rights. Even if you decide something is bad, there are always people who believe otherwise, and react on their own free will. Although rights protect us to some extent, ultimately they are a pre-fabricated system that are set in place to attempt to promote an orderly society. WE are the ones who decide what the rights are, they aren't just there. On the other hand, everyone has the freedom to choose what they want to do, no matter what others say about it. Even if consequences are involved, there is always a choice. This is something that is basically apparent, unlike rights which are created. So there will always be people who choose not to believe in rights of their own free will, whether we like it or not.
I myself think that animal cruelty is sad and should be avoided whenever possible, but I'm not about to force my opinions on others if they think otherwise.
Also, as I said, rights are something we created, it isn't something that just IS like, say, gravity. But this means
nobody gave us the right to decide what others' rights are. Who are we to say what an animal's rights ARE? We think ourselves better than everything else just because we think we have the right to decide these kinds of rules.
