The Dragon's Arena Decks

My destroyer deck fell to 81-5 due to low hp, and has absolutely zero chance of making it to #1 now, so I made it into a farm for your enjoyment.  It's got SoR, Druid Staff, and relics.  Think of it as my apology to the community for the stupid fire deck.

edit: took the farm down after getting a good card from oracle tonight.  Hopefully it helped a few people out.

Yeah, looks familiar, doesn't it? :p  I decided to tweak it a bit from last time by removing all of the permanents (imp fog shield, fahrenheit) so that there was nothing to steal or explode, and added in a shockwave and basilisk blood in their place.  I also put in another explosion instead of a ball lightning.  Unfortunately, the changes were for the worse, as you can see.  The deck did make it into the top ten, even though it did worse than the previous immorush I posted.  Looking back at the lava golem deck, I think that the only reason it didn't make #1 was because the deck that was #1 was REALLY good at the time; it was ahead significantly in ratings, almost 100 I think. (I think it belonged to matrimkk if I remember)  This time, there weren't any decks that were way ahead of everyone else in rating.

Today's card is Pegasus, which will be interesting.  I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, but at least whatever it is, it won't be a stupid immorush again.

This wasn't a very serious deck, but it looked fun, so I posted it   The goal was just to make a funny deck where the pegasi got nice and big with chaos powers and started diving.  A better deck with Pegasus  would have been some sort of speedbow, but that's boring. 

I hope people enjoyed playing against it.  I would have taken it down after only 1 day with that record, but I spun Flooding yesterday.  I spun Liquid Shadow today, and rather than leave that silly pegasus deck up, I'm just going to post a farm with SoD/SoR in preparation for version 1.29.  (not SoGs because since those are used much more frequently, they're much easier to win)

I already put this one in the 'sensational arena matches', but it's not really all that sensational :p  The deck I'm playing here is dune scorpion momentum with shards of sacrifice.



It's kind of embarrassing to lose to my own deck, especially when it's using a card like Scarab as the oracle card, but at least I'm not alone.  It's 58-10, rank 19, after 6 days.  It's staying up at least 1 more day, too, because I got Catapult as a card tonight.

Yay for mono-other pseudofarm!  Somehow it got 7-4.  I didn't think it would get any wins at all; it was just supposed to make people expend a little effort to win from a farm.

This somewhat unusual deck started really nice; it was 13-0 to begin, and so I had high hopes for it, but it quickly took a nosedive, as you can see.  The frog seemed like a good card to use, but I didn't want a boring monolife deck, and those usually do pretty badly.  As it turns out, this performed at about the same level, but at least it was more interesting.  The deck has a lot of design flaws, which I was aware of but simply didn't care about, as I was trying to be unique, but hopefully it was at least something interesting to play against.

Got a very fun card tonight.  It's not the best card for an arena deck (it's one I had before and the deck was quite poor) but I have to use it!  *hint* Zanzarino might have a headache right now...


Also gained level 71 since building the last deck.  Yay arena grinding!

This deck had a nice run, but I think it really needs the 3x mark, and with 27hp and a decent card at the oracle tonight, bone pillar, it's time for a new deck.



I'm very surprised that this deck did as well as it did.  I didn't even remember that I'd put a SoSa in there until just now; I must've been stumped as to what to add for the 35th card.  Anyway, it's a pretty straightforward deck.  The DBH lockdown buys time for the chargers to come out, and the nymphs hopefully take care of any creatures that manage to slip past the lockdown.  I went with the 3x mark and less hp so that the black hole spam would be easier to maintain in the early game.

edit: lol it just suddenly occurred to me what horrible antisynergy the lone SoSa has with black holes and purple nymphs :p  I wonder if it improved the deck or made it worse...

This deck was simply my favourite bronze league farmer, with +4 Ivory Dragon and +1 Tower to get it up to 35 cards.  In Soviet Russia, the Arena farms YOU.  The highest I saw this deck get was rank 3.  I suspect a few of the losses came from the AI messing up the timing between Bone Wall and Shard of Sacrifice :p

I might've left the deck up for another day, but I got Crimson Dragon tonight and I don't want to be stuck with a crappy card.  I'll try to make the deck a little more interesting, but I suspect it's just going to be an immoyawn.
