I didn't think it would actually do anywhere near as well as it did.  As it turns out, I've done some similar decks to what you suggest, as well as the one posted already, so I probably should have expected a similar result.  This shrieker deck is closest to the third deck below, but shares some similarities with all three, as does the idea BrandenC6 suggested.

You sure do love huge decks that are duo or trio. Can we see some more smaller decks and/or quartets? Rainbows are easy just sticking in a bunch of QTs or supernovas. But quartets get down and gritty at times. I've got a challenge for you in fact. A 3 arena deck marathon. 3 decks where the first one is no less and no more then 38 cards and quartet without novas or immolations. The 2nd deck containing no less then 60 cards, quartet and no QT's, one that is made to specifically deck the opponent out. The 3rd being a quartet without nova immolation or QT's and being 43 cards or more. This challenge should spice up your decks a bit and give you more expirence it how the AI plays more combo-based decks. I do highly advise you test your arena deck on these 3 days.

I took my inspiration for this deck from Dm1321's 'the mono', which is a 60 card monogravity deck.  It did remarkably well for such a ridiculous idea, lasting seven days.  That HP hit on the 7th day really doomed it, I think. 

Today's card is flesh spider.  I'll try doing BrandenC6's challenge for this one.  I didn't for the last deck because I had already built it by the time he posted.  So it will be a 38 card quartet without novas or immolations.

Well, I figured this was a reasonably clever way to implement the first 'challenge' brandenc6 posted above.  Unfortunately, it only earned a 4/12 thumbs up rating.  I thought it was a rather interesting idea, myself, but apparently the public disagrees :p  I haven't actually gotten a play on this deck in the last day or so, but it was in around 480-490 the last time I checked on it, so I had left it up.  It's probably shifting up and down too much at that level, so I'm taking it down.

Today's card is soulcatcher.  I'm not sure how to build a deckout deck around soulcatcher, so I'm skipping branden's 2nd challenge (for now) and moving straight to the 3rd one, a >=43 card quartet without nova, immo, or QT.  I'm going to base it on a new league deck I built (which is actually only a duo) but then add soulcatchers and death cards, which should actually be fairly easy to do, in order to make a trio.  To make it a quartet... I'm not sure what else I'll add, but I'm sure I can find something.

I would thumbs that deck up!  A death water deck without chrysoras... yeah, earns thumbs up. Then how each card does something for the deck is also cool.

Well... that was a very short exercise in futility :p  The black holes off the mark were simply to stall until the rest of the combo could be brought into play, namely fractaling balls/damsels and building up bonewalls and graveyards and condors, until the sky blitz could finish them off.  I didn't expect much from the deck in terms of wins, but who the heck thumbed this down?  This deck is so cool :p  In any event, I'll have to wait a few hours before building the next challenge deck, since I need a new oracle spin to do so.

edit: spun immolation.  Not sure how to do this: "The 2nd deck containing no less then 60 cards, quartet and no QT's, one that is made to specifically deck the opponent out." with immolation, but I like a challenge... :p

Well, 4/6 thumbs ups is pretty good, even with a small sample size.  I didn't think this would win any games at all, much like the soulcatcher one I just did.  There are a lot of neat little synergies in this deck, though I suspect that the AI will miss most of them.  I tried to think of something better to do with the fire quanta from immolation, but given the deckout restriction, firestorm and shard of bravery seemed the best options, although I could have gone with rage potions as well, I suppose.  I figured six rays of light and a few skeletons aren't likely to kill anybody on their own, so I counted this as a deckout deck, since especially with shards of bravery, that is by far the most likely win condition.

Today's card is butterfly effect.  I've had that card before, I think.  I know once I basically threw it into a chaos wyrms mix, and I think I did something with shard of readiness another time.  I'll try to find something clever and interesting to do with it.  I rather like the idea of using fate eggs and SoR, and having eggs blow stuff up, but I think that might be too close to what I did before (I'll check).  The idea of making a duo with darkness and using pests as BE targets is rather unorthodox as well, but quite likely to piss off a lot of people.  (that deck might be less likely to be downrated if the oracle card was already pest, rather than choosing to use pest; I'll try to remember to do that if I spin devourer)  In any event, I'll do what I always do, browse the cards until something stands out.

I love seemingly unorthodoxed stuff. Then it just all comes together in a surprising way is my play style.

I started this build as BE salvagers, but it kind of degenerated into a fat DBH with nymphs after that.  No real surprise it didn't earn any thumbs ups.  Not much to say, really.

Today's card is dissipation shield.  I'm toying with the idea of making an enormous 60 card deckout stall with tons of quantum towers, and a few other things like purify, protect artifact, and lobotomizer, to get around some of the counters to dissipation shield. (poison, PC, and momentum, in those cases)  It's incredibly silly... but then, which of my decks aren't?

Honestly, people... this deserved thumbs ups :p  I guarantee you've seen nothing like it before.  Massive amounts of quanta for the diss fields, PA to keep them alive, mindgates for fun and to use the massive piles of quanta (and PAs for those, too), purifies to stop the poison that gets around the shield, and shards of bravery to both help draw the combo and deck the opponent out.  (I know momentum/psion gets past this, too, but I basically ignored that, thinking it would rarely be used)  In testing, I happened to use a 60 card stall deck, and I won when the AI mindgated and played sanctuary... but you can't make a deck that the AI will win with in all situations :p

Today's card is red nymph.  Hooray!   I'll check what I've done with that before (pretty sure voodoo and angels are on there) and go from there.
