I asked in chat what I should do with a light pillar in the arena.  Someone said do monolight with SoD/miracle/light nymphs.  I said no, that's not creative enough, but I liked the idea enough that I added water to get more nymphs via queens/tears.  However, even that deck I've done before, so I looked at a third element, and settled on time for more drawing and the shards of readiness that work well on any nymph.  Then I realized that almost the entire deck was rares, so I took out every nonrare card just for the lolz, and so I present to you a 12 ultra-rare, 15 shard, 10 rare deck.  The mark of gravity was a last minute addition just for the pharaoh's scarabs, and so I could pretend I had a quad instead of a trio :p

Today's card is stone dragon.  (again...)  I've had this recently, so I'll try to be creative, but I'm not sure how easy it will be.

I was hoping the pairing of stone and colossal dragons along with catapults would be considered creative.  While it probably was, the quicksands and pulverizers probably had an annoyance factor that was higher than the cool factor of catadragons.

Today's card is dagger.  The last time I remember getting that, I did some sort of novabow with nothing but buffs for the flying dirks, and even that was a heck of a stretch to find an idea.  I'll try to think of something, but it might just end up being a farm.

I've never seen this deck done before, at least not quite in this version, so its failure to get any thumbs ups at all is baffling to me.  Perhaps pest is just hated that much.  I thought it was a rather clever idea, myself.  And it's completely pillarless!  The only 0 cost cards are the dirks and damselflies.

A note on the deck stats.  After the first day, the deck was 2-3 and at about rank 800.  I didn't have time to change the deck, so I left it for a few hours, and when I came home, to my utter amazement, the deck was ranked at about 370, but nothing in the rating or win/loss had changed.  I posted in the Q&A thread, but nobody seemed to know what happened for sure.  Anyway, something bizarre happened in the arena, but I don't know exactly what, and probably never will.

Today's card is graviton mercenary.

just so you know, the reason I thumbed it down is because Pests + SoV + Wings + Dams + Dirks = All cards that are seen more in arena than I would want. Half the deck being Darkness tends to lead to Thumbs Down in most cases.

Ah, alright, fair enough.  I hadn't realized darkness was that hated, but I suppose I can understand; pests really do a number on certain types of popular decks.  I'm surprised that you said dirks are common arena cards; I don't think I've ever seen them unless it's the oracle card, but I can certainly relate to the rest of it.

I did deliberately make this deck rareless, but other than that, I didn't really have anything specific in mind as a goal, other than to be able to beat pdials due to purifies.  I just tried to do something I thought was a little unusual.

Today's card is titan.  I really don't like getting weapons; it's often very hard to come up with something creative.  You're already pretty much limited to some sort of flying weapon deck, and then people think oh, I've seen this one before... :p  Ah, well, I'll try and do something at least slightly interesting.  No catatitans or monogravity SoFo control or anything.

Including Dirks was an accident. When I wrote that I was thinking of how often I've seen people just do 'Dirk? KK' *Mono X* and how often people take an oracle card and turn it into mono darkness or air except for maybe the oracle card's mark.

Pretty good thumbs up ratio for this deck.  Remarkably, I can't ever recall seeing the idea done in the arena before, which is of course why I did it.  Overdriven titans/massives is pretty basic, but then, just as the opponent might be wondering, did he pick that air mark by accident... BAM!  Sky blitz.  I included lots of blitzes just to be sure one was ready.  Being able to pull that blitz out just before the opponent is ready for it would be key against sundials or shards of sacrifice, and it also makes the deck that crucial turn or two faster to try and overwhelm a stall or outrush a rush.

Today's card is immolation.  The rainbow nature of that should allow for some interesting creative ideas, although it does limit the deck somewhat due to the reliance on fire, as well as the immobait itself.  Still, I think I should be able to come up with something pretty cool.

Those are my decks from last season's BL, including "the deck".  For this season's.... you'll have to wait a bit   Although, in the case of 'the deck', it's only changed by a few cards, if that.

This deck felt like sheer genius when I built it :p  I knew it wouldn't get very far, but man, I thought it would get loads of thumbs ups if it could actually win any games.  Silly people...

Today's card is antlion.  I think I did fractal antlion once before, so it will have to be something else...
