Back from vacation... :)  Turns out I did have some internet access after all, but all I did was spin oracle.  No nymphs :(  But, it seems the old tourney mark codes from this summer have come in, so I'll be getting mark of life to complete 1 of each element, and then a second one of something, but I don't know what yet.

Serprex is correct, but what I do is this, because it only has one variable to solve for instead of two, so less math.  (If you are not in platinum league, the 12 will be some other smaller number; I don't know them off the top of my head, but I'm sure it's somewhere on the forum)

# thumbs up = ( Electrum Won / 12 ) - Games Won

For example, the deck I had up over vacation (still alive, btw) has won 540 electrum so far and has 29 wins.  # thumbs up = 540/12 - 29 =  45 - 29 = 16  So the deck has 16/29 thumbs ups.

Oracle Card: NYMPH'S TEARS

17/37 thumbs up :)

Well, mission accomplished :)  My goal was to make a deck that would either play nymph's tears on towers, cloak them, and PU something, and not have the player know wtf was happening, or else do the same thing with boneyard skeletons + fallen druid, and cloak them and PU.  How often this actually went according to plan... I don't know.  The rest of the deck was designed as survival to hopefully get that silly combo out.  Surprisingly, it did quite well, and garnered nearly 50% thumbs ups.

Today's card is death pendulum, leaving my options fairly open for creativity, which is nice.  Also, with this summer's mark codes for tourneys, I picked a mark of life and a mark of light, so I now have 1 of each mark unupped, except for light, where I have 2, so I can use those if desired.  (or if I want to show off... :p )

11/25 thumbs up (44%)

Well, I'm fairly happy with this result.  A very decent number of thumbs ups, particularly given the fact that I had twelve shards of focus in the deck.  I really like the synergies of things dying in this deck along with the bone walls and graveyards.  It's essentially a catatitan deck that duos with death in order to get benefits from your things that will die.  Catapult a titan, get bones and skeletons.  Spend your shard of focus, get the same.  Use retrovirus to plague your enemy's field, get the same.  Ball lightnings that suicide into more skeletons and walls, and condors to benefit from all the carnage.  I know chimera eating your field doesn't trigger any of that, but I used it anyway, because there's always the chance to catapult the chimera, as well as get around shields, although most shields probably did little to nothing against this deck, anyway, since sofo can blow them up and titans and trebuchets just ignore them.

Today's card is steam machine.  I wanted to try a red nymph/steam machine/shard of patience deck, but I'm not sure if I've done that before or not.  If I haven't, I'll probably post that, otherwise, I'll think of something else.

Oracle Card: EARTHQUAKE
wins: 48 losses: 12 rank: >500 Rating: -84 age: 8

18/48 thumbs up

This deck was heavily inspired by the deck found here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/dragon-tamers-(life-earth)(rareless)/  Therefore, I must share all success that this deck has with dawn to dusk :p  The deck lasted 8 days, and it even got one win on the 8th day while it had 1hp :p  The strategy is quite simple.  Start off by playing gnome/epinephrine for lots of quanta, then play steel golem/mitosis for lots of attackers, while the quicksands and granite skins stall long enough for this to happen.  Green nymphs because I could, and because the triple life mark makes it possible quanta-wise.  The AI even played epi on the gnomes and mitosis on the golems, at least in the couple of test games I played, which was unexpectedly nice.

Since I borrowed from another deck, I'll also mention why I made some of the changes.  I went with steel golems instead of dragons, because they only cost 4 quanta and you still get a pretty good hitter that's very hard to kill with CC.  I went with life mark and earth quanta cards because I felt that would be faster.  The earth creatures need to come out first before any of the life cards can be played anyway, so it's okay if it takes until the second or third turn to play the life cards.  I took out the cockatrices because I felt they got in the way of that, taking the life quanta needed for the epi/mitosis, as well as being targets the AI might play those on instead when I didn't want it to.

Today's card is immortal.  I'll have to check what I've done with that one in the past; I'm pretty sure I've had it a few times already.  I'll try to make it interesting as usual.

Well, despite being a deck I've never seen done before anywhere, people hated it :p  Admittedly, I can see why; while it is something I've never seen done, it has several hated characteristics, notably poison, immortal creatures, dimshields, and sosa, all rolled into one neat little package.  At least I got a BL deck idea out of it... :p  The deck had done very well to start; I remember checking on it and seeing it at 14-0.  Then I saw 14-2, and then coming home from work today, the final 17-4.  Oh, well...

Today's card is pulverizer.  The forced duo will make it very hard to come up with a deck that hasn't been seen before.  Probably the only way I can make it unique is to find some sort of trio that's interesting.  I have an extremely silly idea that I'm going to try... :p

Actually, that pretty much sums up what I figured people's reactions to it were.  I hadn't realized its thumbs up count was so low until making that post, though.
