This deck was
very close to getting Top 50 at one point, given a ratio of 16:7 (thanks for the upvotes guys!), but I think most people starting using non-creature based decks (Firestall maybe?). The fact that this deck could counter poison, stop nearly ANY type of creature-rush/utility team with the lobo-freeze soft CC combo, and deal decent damage via protection (Quint) and bonus damage (Shard of Wisdom - hey, I avoided SoP for once in a
deck!) was probably what made it survive for so long.
QUICK EDIT: Also, spell damage > nearly every shield, including Gravity Shield as most creatures had an HP less than 6.
