Its probably obvious what the oracle card for A Dark And Stormy Night is, but it works out pretty good all the same. This is ultimately the rebirth of Eye of the Storm, as a  :air  :darkness duo. I liked that deck, but the introduction of SoSa and Instosis and perhaps Pharaoh decks changed the metagame literally overnight. But as I did some more thinking on it, the concept of the Mass Animate Weapon Deck works still, I just need to adapt it to the new metagame and make it not a pure rush.

Continuing the theme of Mass Weapon with Embers of Time, which follows a similar formula as the other one except that because it has Fire in it I expect a lot of thumbs down. (  :time  :fire duo ) Everyone hates fire and automatically considers it 'unoriginal'. But when SoSa Stall gets more thumbs up than a lot of other decks... its hard to keep faith that people are voting purely on creativity anyway and more about what annoys them. (At some point I have to do a reevaluation of the metagame and focus my decks more rather than going for general effectiveness, because I keep missing my meta target.)

Also, the nearby future contains at least two more Mass Weapon decks.  :earth  :gravity with a Judge themed name, and a  :life  :death focusing with nymphs for mass adrenaline on the weapons with a name something like "A matter of Life and Death".

Flooding Oracle card. Going 6-2, but only half thumbs up. You'd think a deck like Maren Aquarium would get more approval than that. Mainly posting to get this slot reserved, and to state a slight change in my front deck policy. I'm going to be placing the deck up only in the event that it has gone at least one successful day. Makes the archive clean without any need to toss in flops and lets people looking through the decks know that if its named and somewhere its doing at least decently. Plus, its easier on me to keep the uploading to the forum days and the creating a new deck days separate.

I've been on hiatus for a couple months and finally decided to venture back to see how things were going. Surprisingly pretty much the same, but once the new updates come out I imagine everything will change. In any case I think I finally have a deck idea that would be worth updating this and bring into the light I've started making decks again, since if this trend holds my experimentation has finally born fruit once more. THis said, I named the experiment

* A Fractal Light Show *

The biggest surprise to me is the low number of likes that it received, I'm simply factoring this to the players currently on being the kind to thumbs down almost any deck until the trend persists.

Lesson learned. Just because a deck goes 6-0 doesn't mean it won't go 3-6 init's next 9 matches and get kicked straight out of Platinum. But Lycan disaster I 'trust' for this not to happen to, at 8-0.

I'll probably post something like the deck composition once I take the deck down, but here's a spoiler.

First deck in that ranking, btw.

Mono-Water taking the #1 ranking was quite fun, posting here to declare that

Although I was hoping to have the #1 ranking for a couple days straight, for some bizarre reason the deck tanked something like 3-4 losses almost in a row although getting about 8 wins during that time, and never quite got bck up to #1. The deck is still rank #9 now, but it'll probably be coming down soon.

Second trial
Got to 67-6, suffered first loss between 57-0 and 60-0, I'm not exactly sure when. I'm putting it up a third time because I imagined that it was fun for the parties involved, and that since I haven't seen others doing it that much it isn't common enough to be disliked by the about 50% approval before getting to top 10.

Been a while since I posted, tried an Aether Nymph deck, and had much more success than I expected.

Everything fully upped spare -10 HP.

Got to 35-2 on day 4, got to about 48-5 by day 6, then got to 51-19. People really liked this deck it seems, with having 39/51 Thumbs up. Of course it might be slightly less due to being up at rank 4-6 for a couple days, but I'm certain from the early times I looked that it has over half thumbs up. Peaked at about rank 6.

Also trying a bit more of an informal commentary about each of these decks rather than a rigid platform.

Yeah, unfortunately it was dangerously close to dropping out after the first day. I'm genuinely surpirsed it got more wins than losses, although as a mono-Other deck the concept was fun to work out. I didn't include miracles because as the deck was it wouldn't use them that often, and it'd make it no longer a non-mono-other. Although it perhaps would have been a good idea. You were the only one to give it a thumbs up, fyi. Man, my brain is screwed up today, what was I thinking?

Well, I haven't had the chance to do it for a couple weeks, but I did get it to 1st place 3 weeks straight for testing value. But what decks would you say defeat Tides of War? Because from the analysis I've thought out for it, the deck defeats pretty much everything in the metagame. Thanks though.

The deck at some point at age 5 had 54-6, but ended with 71-17 at Age 8.

I'm not entirely sure why this one received so much negative feedback. The deck is something with gravity without black hole, SoFo, or any of the typical gravity grievances. And the dark aspect keeps away from devourers. Oh well, at least I've never seen it in arena before, and it takes a new spin on the granted cards.
