Who reads Sam Harris? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=47628.msg1050099#msg1050099

Sam Harris is currently promoting that anyone who writes a rebuttal to his new book Lying, that causes him to edit the book in any way will receive free signed copies of all of his books. The pdf version of the book can be downloaded for free directly from his website, so if you're interested in reading it, there is no need to buy.

I've been reading Sam Harris' books for a few years now, and must say that I enjoy them despite disagreeing with him on a few key points (racial profiling, gun control, et cetera). The Moral Landscape, for instance, is an excellent introduction to utilitarianism for the layperson. Sam Harris's writing gives the armchair philosopher plenty to chew on, I think.

Anyone here familiar with his works? Maybe in the process of reading Lying, or any of his other works and want to discuss them? I've just recently begun Lying myself.

:)
