Game 2 he made short work of both my flying, adrenalined staves.

Game 3 he only drew one pillar and couldn't catch up.

essence i send u and email where i say i can t join my opponent so why the score is 0 0 ... am i not suppose to win by forfeit if my opponent isn t reply to me ???

The rules are clear: if both opponents make an effort to find one another, and they fail, it's 0-0.

I have PMs cc'd from both you and giversgivealot making an effort to find one another.  Therefore, it's 0-0.  There are no special rules for what happens if someone only makes one attempt and then vanishes -- the attempt was made.

i dont get this at all, i BC'd a copy of my PM to lava golem to Essence as required and then posted here stating that he forfeited the match to me
and that gives me 0 point
but a bye awards you 100 points for no reason (due to limitation on challonge)

seems as if Essence comes here once a while, scan through the posts and moves on to the next round
and then you'll see a couple of posters complaining about things that he missed (even from signups phase)
this has not been a good first event experience for me
good luck to the rest, i'm done with this event
hopefully the next one will be better organized and managed

kobisjeruk has stopped playing this event.  He has also told me via PM as well.

jamiejones, you didn't make any attempt that I saw to find and play fnix in the 3 days provided you.  You're still in the game, but since he showed me evidence of trying to find you, and you didn't show any evidence of trying to find him, he gets the bye.

You're certainly still allowed to play in Rounds 4 and 5 though.
