Phat Deck Event: Battle Thread https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=10943.msg134444#msg134444
« on: August 09, 2010, 03:54:51 pm »
In order to be a bit cleaner with the Phat Deck event, I'm starting a second thread for the bracket and battle results.

Please go back and review the rules in the main thread before starting your first battle.  There are many details which will cause you to be eliminated if you do not follow them precisely.

Post fight-by-fight results with the EXACT deck you used (copy/paste the deck code into notepad BEFORE the fight starts!) to this thread with each match you play.

Thank you, and have fun!
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Game 1: pretty close... sort of. He ended with around 60 hp and I had the capability to do 64 damage per turn, but he played a sundial. I couldn't evolve any shriekers because of a quinted oty and a RoF that I had seen though precognition.

Game 2: his deck didn't have any flying creatures, and 2 pairs of wings sealed it.

Game 3: I didn't draw any wings, so I couldn't stall and he outrushed me.

What do you mean? Purple dragon is airborne, so is fire queen.

Okay...... but literally implosion said "his deck" didn't have any flying creatures, but there are actually airborne creatures in that deck. I won't argue over fine points, the meaning is now quite clear, but the words are misleading.

He never got the purple dragon, and the FFQ came very late.

Wow, this is pure evil. One rainbow deck and one anti-rainbow deck. Most mono, duo, trio decks don't stand a chance against rainbow when they get too large, so your rainbow deck will handle most fights easily, and if your opponent uses a rainbow deck, you'll kill him with blackholes. Well thought out, really evil.

P.S. "Evil" is what I use to describe cleverness, since all evil stems from intelligence. (or do they?)
