I don't like paladin in arena, because the drafts are always insane.

These days, it's all about tempo. Your early game is a little weak, so that hurts this deck a lot. Even a 30 legendary deck is weaker than a well curved deck with some removal in it. And then there's also the RNG factor, which can help bad players win :/

PS: I also don't like paladin in general.

Tell me about tempo now, after getting the BOTTOM 5 cards in first 8 in first 2 games. 3rd game against a warrior has nothing but 2 drops + mech synergy, which perfectly counters my 2 drops.

A low curve is great if you can combine it with reach. That deck only has 4 potential removal cards, 1 of which will rarely come into play (Rag), and only 2 cards that give it reach (3 with Rag, which I won't be counting). In a minion-heavy deck like that you need mid-game and minion quality more because you'll be able to aim to win a few turns after the mid-game. Now if you were a Hunter that'd be a big improvement, but even then the lack of reach is a huge problem.

That said, curving out would still have this deck go 7-8 wins on average over the course of 10000 games, I imagine. Variance is a bitch.

The other came about from a deck I've been wanting to build for a long time, but refused to craft the key cards for.  I got this as my ranked monthly reward last month

The animations get even worse than GRIM PATRON decks.  I'm not even kidding.  Try it out in casual if you don't need to craft shadowfiends; everything else is common or rare.

For the same reason Mindgate is my favourite card in Elements, Nexus Champion Saraad is my favourite card in Hearthstone.  This warrior didn't see it coming... (and yes, Velen lived to pull it off!)

Anyone looking at a Hearthstone thread will know that one of the most obnoxious, skillless, and most overused netdecks right now is secret paladin.  (face shaman, combo druid, and grim patron warrior are the others, though fortunately the latter has dropped down to a normal level of use now that warsong commander got nuked from orbit)  This guy got royally outplayed by using jeweled scarab to snag a rather underused secret to maximum effect...

That deck got 0-3. Yes, 0-3. In the first two games I drew no 1 cost cards and no 6+ cost cards against priests. In the 3rd game I faced a paladin with bolvar held in hand since turn 1, played as 8 atk on turn 5 and turn 7 geddon. He also pulled echoing ooze+kings.

I don't think I've ever felt so salty.

But then I got 11-3 with this deck, so druid is forgiven, for now.

Ouch.  I think I've only gotten one 0-3 ever, and that was with priest.  My deck was so bad, in the 3rd game, the other guy dropped dread infernal, killing 3 of his own minions before he attacked, and I was still so far behind that I lost :p  That druid deck, though (the first one), it has some solid early game minions, and a couple solid lategame ones (as many as you'd need, anyway) but not much in the middle, like 4-5 cost things.  It also has basically no removal, which is always a huge warning sign.  Still, if I'd drafted this, I'd probably be hoping for 4-5 wins.

The second druid deck is pretty interesting.  Lots of removal, which as mentioned, is always good.  A very nice early game, a late game as good as the other deck, but again, a pretty big hole in the middle, only this time it's in the 3-4 range instead of 4-5 range.  Not sure what I'd have predicted for myself on that one (ONE three drop?) but I guarantee I'd have expected more from deck #2, just not 11 wins more :p  I'd probably have hoped for 7-8 from the 2nd one.

Ho.  Lee.  Crap.  Quite literally the best arena deck I have ever drafted.  I was a bit nervous about the early game on this one, but other than my one loss, I managed to get just enough to get into the lategame, where it was basically impossible to lose by then.  Pick 1 was between dr boom, ysera, and maexxna.  Things pretty much went like that for the rest of the draft.

I thought as soon as I drafted it that it might be my first 12-0 run ever; it turned out to be 12-1, since some warlock had mechwarper turn 2, mechanical yeti turn 3, and hungry dragon turn 4, and I had only the hungry crab he gave me with the dragon, and none of my removals.  There's always that ONE guy that wrecks the 12-0, but I can't complain; I was 'that guy' for twelve other players today.  It also stands as the only time I have ever correctly predicted a 12 win run.  All my other 12s were with decks I thought would get less, sometimes much less.

The deck (for those who do not use that website to track games, it gives a score to decks based on card quality, excluding synergy.  A typical deck is about a 63 score; slightly more for paladin, slightly less for classes like warrior or priest, due to average card quality.  I've gotten over 70 maybe 5-6 times, and over 71 exactly once; a 73 with shaman, of all things.  I think that went about 9 or 10 wins.  The lowest I've had is about 55 for a warrior; decks are under 60 about as often as they are over 70)

The 12th win screenshot.  (sneeds was from gorilla mech a turn or two before)  It wasn't even close, as you can see.  Other than the one loss, and one game where a topdecked blizzard probably staved off a loss, they were all landslides like this.  Some of the decks I faced were pretty good, too, but they just got steamrolled.

The loot.  Below average for 12 wins, but nothing to scoff at.

The pack was much more impressive.  I often seem to get a card that symbolizes the run really well; in this case, the golden spellbender.  The last priest run I did, for instance, was chock full of mech synergies and went 9-3, and I got a golden clockwork knight from it.

I got a preeeety good shaman deck. No bad cards in the whole deck. I got to 11-0, then I lost two times, but I got the deserved 12 win in the end
