It was fun for a few weeks, but with only rares being any good and rare drops being 100% random, I've yet to get anything for the classes I wanna play, much less anything good that all classes can use. The card base is too small and the game is too slow-paced and lacking in strategic options so far to keep my interest for long. Still beta for a reason.

Yeah, I think it was officially released.

I think there's a good chance that there will probably be lots of new content releases, at least in the first couple years, because it's being backed by Blizzard. So I wouldn't give up on it yet.

The rare drop thing is a problem many card games have trouble getting right *shoots elements a dirty look*.

Hardly matters since they haven't added anything. It's pretty damn unfinished and small.

It's not giving up, btw. It's "not playing until it's fun".

I actually find it quite funny.  I do find the 2 card base limit interesting, it makes it different from other games+there are many cards doing similar things so it's still possible to build strategies.

I've been playing a lot lately, and I prefer it to Elements tbh. The gameplay involves much more strategy than in Elements, since there are so many more decisions in a single turn. I dislike how some of the legendary cards are so powerful (Ragnaros and Cairne - seriously!?), but other than that, it's a great game. It's also much easier to get into competitive play, since you have a PvP ranking within the game.

The legendary cards don't even bother me that much, because I've been playing almost solely arena lately. I'm fortunate enough to be able to usually win enough gold back to pay for the next run.

Easier to get into, but harder to keep up with unless you have the required epics and legendaries. Otherwise you just rush.

The current meta right now is really stale, it's either pure rush or super control with 5+ legendaries. Hopefully the next card expansion will allow more diversity.

After a week and a half of play, I'm irritated about how I have no rares, and can expect not to have any for a long time.

I have had no luck in the arena, and have gotten every hidden quest. My win ratio on a good day is 1:1. Amazingly it's still fun.
