Crawled my way back from 4 hp vs 26 hp. This guy managed to get 3 blood magic spells, then he proceeded to rope and emote spam.

He did not get Drain Life to kill me. Then RNG helped me beat this guy with a series of fortunate events for me. (Get Barilzar's Tinkering from him with the Riften Pickpocket, turned my Red Bramman into Divayth Fyr, then in a Moment of Clarity I saw his experiment and picked it)

Karma works.
