Title: Auto Chess & Variants
Post by: dawn to dusk on June 26, 2019, 07:01:39 am
DotA Auto Chess, Underlords, Auto Chess Mobile, and Teamfight Tactics have gotten pretty popular recently, DAC is through DotA client, Underlords is free on Steam, ACM is mobile (obviously) and TFT is through the LoL client.

Underlords is worth checking out, got a game in with Joey and Shock earlier today, and it ran pretty smoothly.
Discuss whatever there needs to be discussed about I guess lmao idk this thread seemed like a good idea

Played my second multiplayer match last night. Went undefeated for around 15 rounds. I was at 100hp, the guy in second place was at 74hp. I had my fingers on the screenshot button ready to show you guys an undefeated 1st place on my second game ever. But then, the guy in second beat me 7 times in a row putting me in second place to finish the game. Yea I rage quit for the night.

This was Underlords btw

Underlords is weird with scaling. The more you play, the more you'll see that happen. Someone goes on a massive losing streak and ends up at 20hp, then somewhere down the line, they get the unit they need and everything clicks. They come back, go on a massive winstreak, and end the game at 20hp.
I'm trying to figure out a way to have such a scaling effect, while also having decent early game. Units like Bloodseeker at 2* really really helps, as does an early Inventor package, and Queen of Pain, which can easily get you through a ton of the early matches and get to late game where you can start actually working on your comp
