Attempt at a rebirth : D&D etg group

How would you guys feel about this? Would we have any interested people? Basically, my idea is to set a time of week, let's say for example tuesday nights 7 pm, and host a session every week. Whichever players happen to be there get added, people who can't be there get a small exp compensation but we cannot wait for everybody to show up everytime or it will never go on.

It would be my first time as DM, and therefore please do not expect anything awesome from me. It would be a learning process. But ofcourse ill try and do what i can.

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

I have done character creation and a very very short session so I am not super clear still.

This sounds amazing! I've always wanted to try playing d&d  but none of my RL friends ever had any interest in it. I have never played before, so I would be completely new to this and would probably need lots of help.

My only issue would be time availability as my work can change frequently or last minute and I cant gauruntee to be available every week at the same time. If there is some way to play as a partial player who is not needed every time, I would love the opportunity and chance to do this when I am available.

I'd potentially be interested.  I've got lots of experience with D&D, starting in the 90s.  As long as it didn't get in the way of RL things or wasn't in a rotten time zone for me, I'd drop in from time to time.

As for time, i know schedules are hard, but we can at least try to find a time that fits most people. I was suggesting tuesday nights, because that's what would be best for me, but we could try another day too.
