To me, a small and useless update. The 2 new cards are not showing, and in fact are not worthy to make me clean the cache. In fact, I now believe that a shard dont need to be powerfull anymore, looks like anything can be a shard. Free marks is good, but is something we wouldnt really need. The poison thing just nerfs some very used cards, and makes Scorpio harder. Wow, great. Nothing that is really useful here.

Hope the code system was worthy zanz time, at least.

Though I agree with the poison creatures and gargoyle. The gargoyle as it stands I find to be pretty useless unless someone sees something I am not but it just has survivability. Which only area in a black deck that helps at all is if you slap vampirism on it. The poison creatures were fairly powerful as is....

The shard however is quite useful whether its dropping an anubis and slapping himself with immoratal or animating a weapon then hitting it with the shard then using whatever ability is on it for free which also effectively makes it so that weapons that have 2 colors you would no longer need a 2nd color for such as the trident or pulverizer.

i disagree. the shard can reduce a deck by a whole element, so it can indeed be pretty powerful, if used right. for example, you dont need other quanta in a mono deck with growing creatures anymore. you dont need aether quanta in a time deck, to make your creatures immortal, if you've got a second shard, you dont need no gravity quanta to devour enemy creatures with scarabs...

but afar from that, some creatures have really expensive ability costs (nymphs, especially the queen). and if you take a look at the card development section, it may verry well be possible, that there will be more cards introduced, with a much higher ability cost than 3 quanta.

i think it was an amazing conveniency update, that balanced the overused otys a little bit, introduced much needed changes and even two new cards.

Like said, I think the reward system can estimulate some donations, so I think zanz did it well to help himself getting money.

But, about the shard, without the readiness thing (argh, just because of that useless Dive skill), it doesnt look so interesting. Wow, great, now Anubis can make creatures immortal without aether quanta. How about to try an aether tower instead of the soooo powerfull shard? This way you can even put a Lobotomizer in deck, to use when you are not using Anubis. Trident? Earthquakes usually do better. Pulverizer? Gravity has already a good sinergy with earth, so no need to avoid the duo. But I will believe that the shard of not-readiness (after the nerf the name sounds simply stupid) is powerfull: so please post a deck using it, that wouldnt be better using towers, and that is a strong deck.

Balance the otyughs, huh? Looks like Im really the single one that thinks a card dont need to be nerfed just because its used. Sure, nerfs of hourglass, steal, etc, were also welcome. I think we should nerf quanta tower, its the most used card in the game! (in fact, I dont think that). This doesnt balance Otyugh. U think it will be less used because it "shouldnt" devour 2 creatures and an animated weapon? This just makes poison decks stronger, mainly Scorpio. I bet we all would love a medium difficulty FG becoming a hard FG. The FG are already so easy, heh?

To me:
- reward system - irrelevant (although its good for the game progress, I dont intend to donate).
- new cards - irrelevant, wont make me clean the cache.
- free metamorphosis - good, but not really necessary.
- info box thing - irrelevant, I had no problem about how they were.
- poisonous creatures - bad thing, it makes a FG harder; and this was not necessary.
- veredict: minor useless update.

Have you changed your Marks more than fifteen times in your gaming history? 15 Mark changes = 1 upgraded card. The metamorphosis cost removal will benefit newbies the most. Or do you have no concerns for them?
