from what i gather you only gain posioning if the card itself says so.... e.g. Chrysaora|Physalia -- 'Cause poisoning if ingested'
otherwise is just the same as plague/infect and then devour - you dont gain poisoning

As for the poisoning, once again scarabs are better than otyughs, because you can sacrifice a single scarab when you have abundance of these and with decks that quint only pharaohs you can rewind poisoned scarabs ;)
Also, as long as a scarab is poisoned only a little you can make it grow by producing scarabs and eating at the same time, so he grows +2 hp and loses 1 each turn, so still grows.

About metamorphosis: why not make marks be purchasable, then part of the normal card setup (save/restore) too?
This way, once you got a mark, it is free, but getting all of them takes 'some' time.
Why? There's no point to making a mark change cost anything at all. The only reason metamorphosis cost anything to begin with was because there was no end game content that cost electrum. So once people had enough electrum to purchase the cards they wanted, there was nothing on which to spend electrum except for a mark change. Since then, upgraded cards have been introduced, and PvP has been revamped and is massively popular. It just doesn't make sense for a mark change to cost anything.
Well, still it would be good if they are part of the save/restore process.

Jep. Pharao+Anubis (<- for few scarabs/pharao) > Otyugh+Quintessence vs. Poisoning. Maybe pharao deck look more interesting after this little (annoying?) change.

Great update! Particularly like the free mark changing (who doesn't?). I like how there's a new side to poison decks, Elidnis, and Scorpio. Definitely more trouble in PvE than PvP, though.

Yeah, I saw that.  Though one time he didn't trigger it when it would have saved his life.  Not sure how that would be coded.
