My suggestion was: Pick a number, N, such that N is less than some amount. If I have N or less zero cost things, muligan as per the front post (IE ONCE).

My point merely was that a lot of decks - particularly those of newer players - would find 1 pillar hands about as good as zero pillar hands (IE completely terrible).

yes, it improves the average hand. That would be *the point*.

New card out, shockwave 2 :air Deal 4 damage to the target creature. If the creature is frozen, its instantly destroyed.
I dont really like it as I feel freeze is already too OP since your creatures dont even get to attack 1 turn before they are able to be frozen again (since they unfreeze after the attacks are done, leaving your opponent to refreeze them)

My request for this new patch:  turn off the music when playing Level 6 The Gods.  At least make it an option.  This is the sole complaint I have in this otherwise flawless game.  Hands down it's my favorite I've ever played online.  It continues to intrigue me after eight months of playing.

No, since the druidic staff and jade staff only deal 2 damage less and the 5 hp is automatic. Any kind of shield that blocks damage or the attack outright makes the vampire dagger practically useless.

What does the music sound like? ??? I haven't heard any music (at least coming from the game itself), except for the ditty at the login screen. I thought that was what Elements Radio was for!

Game could also use some more medium cost dudes with abilities - the reason Otyugh gets so much play is nothing else does anything like that (except the mind flayer, and the squid, that I can think of). More guys with ddd: steal a weapon or www: gain control of target pillar for the next two turns or some such.

(PS: Is their a standard list of letter-acronyms for the elements?)
I haven't seen one. Just using the first letters doesn't work -- there are four conflicts: air-aether, darkness-death, earth-entropy, and life-light. (I assume your d is darkness, the element of the Steal spell.) But I thought of ways to resolve these:
  • Air-Aether: Remove the silent A from Aether.
  • Earth-Entropy: These now both conflict with Ether, so spell them phonetically as well -- Urth and N-tropy.
  • Darkness-Death and Life-Light: Translate Life and Death into Latin -- Vitae and Mortis.
Final result: ADEFGLMNTUVW = :air :darkness :aether :fire :gravity :light :death :entropy :time :earth :life :water .

Talk about over complicating everything. Just say "3 earth" or "2 light"

Also, I don't believe the A is silent on Aether. It's a hard 'A' sound. "Ae-thur"

verbal, read the original post from Zanz. he already answer to ppl like you. in few words, KISS. cards are simple, gameplay is simple - it's not Magic; personally, i don't like this setting either, but it's what makes Elements Elements - it will just stay that way, and it should stay that way it's. i don't want another Magic clone; if i'd want to play Magic, i'd play Magic. and don't expect the game to change just to suit your personal preferences.

i expect no surprise - it will be released when it's done. so the official release date is 'when it's done' ATM.
