Shouldn't Immateriality cancel infection?  IDK if it does normally, but I can tell you it doesn't cancel Aflatoxin. :(  Lost a game because of that bit of ignorance.

Making something immaterial only prevents further targeting and damage. Infection and damage already applied isn't taken off.

I just figured that since immateriality cancels other negative statuses like Gravity Pull, it would cancel infection, too.

Does is though? I know it only appears to cancel freeze. Don't know about GP, but if it does get cancelled that may well be a bug.

Probably it doesn't cancel GP, but it removes the visual effect and the creature doesn't take any more damage since it's immortal.

Nope, it cancels it right out. Or atleast it did when I tried it during 1.13 trainer. (tried to make myself immortal with immortal Armagios and Anubis, oh well.)

There is another problem. I dont know if it was like this all the time, but momentum seems to ignore gravity pull right now. not the problem, but the AI (Graviton) uses gravity pull on my FQ to kill it, but has only momentum creatures and does no damage.

It was like this all the time. Momentum makes a creature deal damage directly to the enemy, passing shields and meatSHIELDS.

If I remember, Zanz specifically made Gravity Pull negated by Immortality when he put Anubis in, because of Armagio. But I could be mis-remembering.

It would break the game if immortalizing a creature with Gravity Pull did not infact remove the GP.  If all non-momentum creatures still targeted the GPed immortal, then that player would effectively never be able to deal damage via creatures.  The only other way to have the mechanic NOT break the game would be to allow GPed immortal creatures to still take damage, which would run counter to every other situation where immortality is involved (except for poisons, I suppose).

And there, in that last sentence, you've laid out the crux of the question: if immaterial creatures can still be damaged by poison, why not Gravity Pull?  If Gravity Pull is removed because of the immortality problem, why is Poison not removed?

I'm just looking for consistency, either way.

Reason why: A creature is charging at the Immaterial, Gravity-Pulling creature. The immaterial creature goes into a fourth dimension of sorts and easily avoids the charge or whatever other attack could have the creature initiated. However, in the dimension, it cannot attract enemy creatures to attack it, so they attack the player instead. Also, shifting dimensions doesn't help against being poisoned or infected with some disease. That's all the why.
