Lol, what are you talking about? That deck is very slow in earning money.

Also when hunting for rare cards, if you are smart you don't fight every single top-50 deck. You skip all non-rare farm decks (real decks) and try to find those rare farm decks (decks with only rare cards and pillars).

If you need money to build a Godkiller deck, go fight level 3 AI. If you need rare cards, go fight top-50 and search for those rare farm decks (doesn't matter what deck you have because you will win every time).

That is the fastest way and anyone who says different is not telling the truth.

I think Philosopher has hit on the 'hidden gem' of farming t-50 to build a God Killer Rainbow.  First off, you win more money per fight, which makes up for the fact that each fight takes longer.  More importantly, since most of the t-50 are Rainbow decks, you're much less likely to have to sell off your cards to buy the 'right' ones -- which saves you 33% of the increased money you do earn.

I'm a new player who followed your guide and is currently using your Rainbow deck to farm False Gods.  (I'm up to 15 upgraded cards ... thanks.)

That said, I was one of the people who asked Essence to post his link here.  I found it to be much faster to farm T50 with his deck than it was to farm AI3 with a mono-fire deck.  I got more gold per win by farming T50, most of the cards I won were either rare or were useful for your Rainbow deck (so I could keep them and didn't have to re-buy), and my losing percentage was lower against T50 than it was against AI3.

I don't doubt your skill and knowledge, but I think you're overlooking some advantages of Essence's strategy.  It helped me get to the point where I had enough gold to put together the unupgraded version of your deck.

With a low rating you'll make ~90g per pvp win, compared to ~15g per elder win.  Later on pvp will average out to 50g per win.  The issue isn't so much speed, it's skill and the luck of the draw.  I wouldn't recommend a noob jump right in to pvp, but if you're starting a second account, or reseting like I did then playing pvp is a good choice.

I realize this guide is for newbies, but if you're any good at the game you can make a lot of money really fast playing PvP.

You can't just compare how much Electrum you get from a win and base the speed on that. You have to also take into consideration TIME and extra cards won.

Here is the formula:
Effectiveness of grinding = money and cards earned divided by time spent

I can guarantee you that grinding PvP is slower than AI3. Anyone can test this themselves by doing both for an hour and seeing how much money they made.

Waiting for the opponent to make his/her move makes PvP insanely slow compared to playing against AI. In the time it takes you to win one match in PvP, you would probably win 4-5 against AI3 with a mono-speed deck. That means a lot more cards won, which means tons of more money won.

Also in PvP you will actually lose games. Against AI3 (with the right deck) you won't.

My goal with this thread was to show how newbies can make money fast, and grinding PvP is not a good option if you want to do that. It might be more fun but not faster.

Posts like this really piss me off.

This thread is about getting money FAST. Grinding PvP is not fast. Grinding PvP is extremely SLOW.

Everyone who has played this game knows PvP is the worst place to make money because of all the downtime. Unfortunately some newbies might actually believe you and waste their time, so you are not helping here, you are doing the opposite.

Grinding PvP might be more fun and more challenging but it is not a fast way to make money and everyone knows this so stop spreading lies, ok?

Well, if you play only 10 minutes a day.. then no, it cannot be done. But if you play 5+ hours.. then yeah, it can be done.
