I started with that guide and I have to thank you because I love this deck. I don't know if the Elements language is the same but in the game "Magic the Gathering" this kind of decks are called "Control Decks" and that's the type of decks I like to play, unlike "Aggro Decks" wich are aggressive decks. Or eventually "Aggro/Control Decks", a mix of them. That's the point I want to make : you have to choose your type of deck. There are other good guides with other kind of decks.

I however added 3 cards to the deck. 1 Quintessence so you can protect the Fallen Druid and the Elite Queen. 1 Reverse Time because sometimes Eternity is the last card of your deck and you loose. 1 Quantum Pillar so the deck remain balanced.

This guide was just awesome.
After 2 hours I finally reached 500pts and immediately made this deck. The difference is that I didnt have any upgraded cards and the hourglasses. I managed to beat an FG and got the Fallen Druid on my 1st try!

you can run un-upped, but much better upped. NEVER up the Novas.

I'm thinking maybe we should let the newbies know that upping the starter stallbow isn't a good idea anymore. Perhaps with a link to CCYB? I get a lot of confused newbies who think the old SGbow is still the best.

III. Buy new cards
You now have bunch of money that you can buy new cards with. Buy some Pillars and as many high cost/high damage creatures as you can. As you can see from the picture, I bought Grimson Dragons because of their high damage.

This guide is great, I wish I found it earlier, but its been amazingly helpful.

I started out with air, then added some life cards and got muy rare, I chose the Owl's Eye and upgraded it to Eagle's Eye.

I was relying on Queens to produce Fireflies, and Rustlers to convert light to life, and Emphatic Bonds to heal me.  This strat had me struggling with level 2 matchups.

I got annoyed and started selling off the cards, including the Eagle's Eye and built up a fire and darkness deck.  Now I have removed a bunch of cards so its mostly a darkness deck with a touch of fire.

15x Obsidian Pillar
5x Black Dragon
3x Steal
3x Ash Eater
1x Brimstone Eater
1x Fire Spectre
1x Immolation
1x Photon

With that I'm finally able to win against level 3, and very often too!  I keep the Photon in there just as a cheap sacrifice for the Immolation card.

I'm sure my deck still isn't the best, but this guide allowed me to use the cards I already had, in a new way to drastically improve my win rate.  In the time it took me to afford my first upgrade, I'm now able to upgrade 3 or 4 cards, depending on how the spins go.

I would have to agree w/ Marisa on this... As a matter of fact, now that there have been many changes to Elements recently, most of these tutorials are obsolete...

I normally wouldn't point something like that out, but this guide is so amazing that I just want to bring it that closer to perfect. Also, I expect that this guide will exist for a long while, and thus, I would like it to be fully respected.

Try searching for Grimson and see how many times it has been mentioned.

QFT. I just blew 6k on the unupped SG Rainbow (upped a couple of hourglasses with what was left) and lost the remainder of my electrum trying to beat FGs. Now I'm selling it all and switching back to my shrieker rush AI3 grind until I get my electrum back to build a real FG deck.

EDIT: Went back to the Fire Lance Sudden Killer unupped to farm only certain FGs. Was able to win and sell 2 upgraded cards to re-establish myself. It's simply a better unupped farming deck.
