i think because FGs have different cards now, and the fact their style of play has changed, e.g. SoG>lobo now, changes to plague/RoF no longer waits till 3 are out, more random etc

The deck works fine IMO. I just tried it and I beat Chaos Lord, Obliterator, and Paradox.

for the moment i'm using a mono-aether sort of deck (some changes from the most popular version) and it works for about 5-6 of the fake gods. I'm going to try the rainbow deck if i get enough money. Wish i saw this guide when i started. Helps alot.

I don't see what makes the deck that outdated. I suffer loses(I'm not sure how much, but a lot), but I personally think that's because my playstyle may be different and my deck wast'n upgraded very much at the time(Only Oty, FFQ, Druid, Hourglasses and a few towers).

If the deck doest'n work for FG(I've not tried it in a while), it most definatly works as an AI5 grinder. I've been playing against them and upping my deck, only have the last few pillars, Eternities, Bonds and perhaps Dials to up(Unsure if I should or not). Also upped 6 Novas with the money I made from AI5. Works great against a lot of them, in my oppinion. Might wanna try it against 'em if you're having trouble with FG's.

You now have bunch of money that you can buy new cards with. Buy some Pillars and as many high cost/high damage creatures as you can. As you can see from the picture, I bought Grimson Dragons because of their high damage.
