So my question is : should I keep trying with this or get back to lvl 3 or maybe lvl 5 farming untill I can upgrade at least otys and druid?

Without at least a few upgraded cards, FGs are going to be very tough. Even with a fully upgraded rainbow, they are tough. You might be better off by using a faster deck at a lower level until you can afford to upgrade at least the Otys and the Hourglasses.

Thank you so much for this. I have been playing for a while and got stuck with not getting much and everything going slow. Going by what you wrote here has changed my outlook on the game and has made it a whole lot more fun!

I've been slightly modifiying it, making it a bigger deck. It working out really well. I was always afraid to break into Rainbow decks but this definitely helped a lot.

I noticed the biggest problem with this rainbow is lack of pillars in the deck.
My starting hand in most cases is including only 1-2 pillars , so I decided to add 2 more of them. And I started to win some matches with it finally, I got 4 cards from FG today.

this is what i use to farm T50. could probably manage with less pillars but it helps to not deck out. also i often aim for 50+ quanta for heals.

so... im on day2 atm, 2932 score, 123 wins, 196 losses.

i started with suggested earth deck and added little my own taste im farming ONLY T50, made list of who is farm, beatable and not worth the time. granted i cant beat much in top50, BUT there are 16-20 of farms or those that i can beat with current deck. if i get someone i fought and i know i cant beat, i just try other, yes i lose money and score, but i dont waste time in fighting what i cant win, most likely.

so lets say i win 1/4 in case i mess up. thats -45 coins. but when i win i get from 30(if i end up low hp) up to 180(if i jump on farm and get my hp to 400)[60 coins for 100hp]. also i won 23 shards, 56 weapons, 4 pharaoh and some other more or less rare cards so extra 150 coins for weapons i dont need(i keep 6 of every just in case). that nets me about 200 coins per fight i chose to fight, which is every 3rd. thats at least double of what i can get from L3, and i get so many rares

at first i thought pvp1 was good, but too unpredictable and takes longer... AI plays much faster.

only better farming i can imagine would be FGs, which im not confident im ready for yet :/

you should keep 12 of each weapon, that way you can have six upgraded (eventually) and 6 unupgraded for tournements and PvP1 and stuff
also, I've been top50 farming for like ages now, and I've won 21 shards, but not a single one was a blue shard

I think that for PvP1 if you have any upped cards they get unupped for that match and stay upped if you chose to use them at another date. That's what I read somewhere, anyway.

I'd like to thank Scaredgirl(I beleive this is the OP's name, if not, I appologize and thanks to the OP) for this guide of sorts, it's helped me a ton as a newb going from a Mono Darkness deck(Which I got off a Kongregate forum, as I came here from Kongregate) which I had to reset so I could get an Eternity to a Mono Fire T50 farming deck to the Rainbow deck in this thread. I've won a few gods with it(I'm not guessing a win percentage, but I've lost a fair number of matches) and so far I've been able to upgrade the Otyugh, the Hourglasses, the Fallen Elf, Firefly Queen and some of the Towers. I also won an upped Quintessence I'm using from an AI5. I do use an extra Quint and I beleive an extra Steal in this deck, I find them both usefull as with three Quints I can have my Firefly Queen, Fallen Elf and Otyugh all immortal. The extra steal comes in help for breaking shields or other important permanents.

I do, however, have a question. What else should I upgrade(I assume everything but Sundials) and in what order? I was thinking upgrading Towers to Pillars will make the deck faster since I'll be able to generate more Quanta earlier on, which would help for some gods, but would upgrading spells or shields(Such as the Rain of Fire or the Bonewall and Phase Shield) be more effective? It might be a stupid question, or it may realy not matter, but I'd like to make this deck as effective as possible so I can farm Fake Gods as effectively as possible. Also, what kind of deck would be more effective than this one once I can afford to fully upgrade it? This one is doing fine, but I'm not sure if it's outdated or anything. My deck imagine is below incase anyone could give me advice on what cards to add, take out, upgrade, ect.

Don't upgrade the Boneyard, as  Elite Skeletons aren't much of a difference and can actually hurt more than help. For example, you put down your Otyugh, but you forget a Quint. Fire Queen uses Eagle Eye to snipe it or a Fire Lance and it takes off 3 hp. Your Otyugh has two hp and you have a few Elite Skeletons on your side, but since they have 2 hp, you can't eat them.


As for a more effective deck, I would go for PuppyChow's FG Rainbow (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1748.0.html) or RoL/Hope (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8602.0.html).

I think Puppychow's Rainbow seems to be the deck I'd prefer, since RoL/Hope requires a ton of upgrades, none of which fit with the current ones I have, I beleive. Would Puppychow's deck work with my current upgrades or would I need to think about upping more cards before moving on to that deck? I have enough Shards but I need to upgrade them first before I can even use them and also a Pulverizer, so that's not a problem, but would going in with that deck essentially non-upgraded be a problem(Without the shards of couse, perhaps I could just take 6 Purify?)? I have one Supernova(Won it upgraded from a FG ), so would I need to essentially get five more of them or does his deck work with just regular Nova's aswell? If I can use it, I expect I'd be using a Time mark instead of Entropy, because I only have one Supernove. Thanks for the help in advance .

His rainbow is known for its speed with Supernovas. You absolutely need the six Supernovas. I doubt the Purifies will work since they heal so little. If you don't have enough shards, I suggest you take two Empathetic Bonds, though the shards work a LOT better.

So basically, what you absolutely need upgraded are the six Supernovas.
