It's not optimal, as AI has quite a bit of CC nowadays. Even just 6 Dragons, Ghosts and a weapon would be better. Throw in an Hourglass/RT (if you don't have Eternity) if you want, but you'll need tons of quanta.
So I guess you could say, that I might as well just reset my deck? Considering my circimstances and that I can't find a time deck that is actually good to use for AI3 grinding, it would maybe be faster to restart with the dark deck than it would to make enough elec to build it from scratch and then start grinding after that.

You could say that. Some elements are quite a bit better as starters.

For newbs, the usually recommended starters are mono earth, mono aether, mono death, or mono life. (speed)
Or mono dark. (versatility)

I have tried all of these decks (in pg.1) in 40 matches (1 lv 0, 5 lv 1, 25 lv 2, and lv 3 the rest). All of them are good, but still... in lv 3
I guess, no matter what deck you have, it's based on your luck to get the card you want... :-[

I like gravity for good defense and water for seems fast attack (5-6 turns, if you draw the right cards). Since I'm new and just curious to try all of the deck, so... ;D
For now i'm using water, and slowly progressing to get 500 points... lost several times, so i say it's luck

Most of those decks were built to fight against AI3, and that's what most people play against. It's generally agreed that the graboid rush and the mono death rush are the fastest against AI3.

The Graboid Rush deck seems to be the best for speed and win/lose ratio.
Most games are won with 7 turns taking only 55-70 seconds.

First 20 games I went 18/2 and the first 40 games I am 32/8.
The deck seems to float around 80% win percentage.

EDIT: Achieving 500 points, I ended up at 36/8 wins/loses. That's almost 82% (81.818181818182%) win ratio.

There is a mistake here. On the Aether part there is: ''Now buy 4 Immortals and put them in the deck in place of three Amethyst Pillars.'' I think it was supposed to be '' in place of four Amethyst Pillars'' xD

As an additional tip to players.  I started with a similar fire deck similar farming level 3 AI with ~95% depending on random luck with top decking quanta or monsters win the vast majority of wins coming in under 10 rounds and above 75hp (Fireball Schrodinger's Cat and Deflag boneyards instead of walls.  Agianst Firefly Queen decks dont put out Dragons until you can Deflag Owl's Eye (bow), stagger dragons, no more than 2, against any fire deck, rain of fire can wipe out your force at anytime so its good to have reserves.  These should be your only problems if you use this.):
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4t3 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f6 5f6 5f6 8po

After getting enough money I converted to Aether farming level 4 AI with above 50% win (most common question answer:  Splitting pillars and pendulums protects from earthquake [stack of permanent destruction]) :

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 8pu

I'm not suggesting to use the first deck to farm AI3.  I am suggesting switching to the second deck to farm AI4 for cash early.  You will lose more often, but within 5 wins I received an upgraded card (Elite Firefly) that sold for 1159.  Both of these decks are unupgraded and weaponless and the AI 4 deck I use is very similar to the mono aether starter suggested here (it does terrible against AI3 which is why I keep 2 decks incase I get overzealous with spending).  All this was done with less than 3 hours of play time in version 1.31.
Currently at 633 score, 48-11 with 1323 electrum after the ~2.5 hours of multitasking.  For using two basic decks and little effort or research this should help build a false god farmer faster for new comers and lost accounts and actually very closely mirrors the tactics in this guide.  Think of it as a possible next step.

Edit:  This thread was amazingly helpful and prevented alot of wasted time.

First, I wanted to say thanks to jmizzle7 for this thread, it definitely got me a great start. I decided to start with the Dark build after reading that the mono dark build is also good for grinding the bronze level of the arena (See: Here [nofollow]). It may be a bit slower against AI3 than some of the other beginner decks, but I've only lost a couple PvP1 matches, which earns way more gold than AI3 matches do. Here is the build I settled on:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 5up 5us 5us 5us 606 606 606 606 606 8pt

The differences between this build and the build jmizzle7 listed are:

+ 1 Steal (great for taking weapons, shields, and annoying permanents in PvP).
-  1 Pillar

Then I swapped 5 Pillars for Dark Pendulums.

EDIT: I should also note that this deck has been very successful against the bronze arena decks. While I still majorly fail at using the rare spin to get anything, I've had several chances.
