There is a better death deck for a beginner than the one in the first post.  Based on my ttw study it is faster than any other deck here including the life and earth rushes.  This is the deck I suggest to all noobs on Kong these days and they are all very successful with it.  Credit this deck to xKelevra; it was his idea when I asked for an unupped death rush.

Oh yeah, I have seen that one. Obviously I hadn't updated the Death guide since before Mummy came out. I'll update the guide soon.

I have an improved unupped mono light and mono time deck for the noobie guide that xkelevra and I came up with working on my ttw study (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8813.0.html).  The mono light is a blessed pegasus deck which is blistering fast against AI3 and the third fastest deck in my ttw study atm.  It is quite a bit faster than the current dragon rush.  The mono time deck isn't quite as fast, but was the fastest deck I could come up with for mono time.  The precognitions make speed it up letting you get pillars and dragons faster.  Note on the time rush it is better to play a dragon over a precognition or hourglass from a speed perspective.  Time has a lot of things going for it, but rushing isn't its strong suit.

I find the time deck jmizzle has is better, because rewinds are very important.
They get rid of momentum, lycanthropes, dragons, blessed creatures (especially otyughs/divers).
I also threw in a procrastination somewhere, it actually improved my win rate by a lot.

Most losses came from entropy/dark elder. (Maxwell's Demon...)
