Deckbuilding 101: From Noob to False God Slayer

I updated the deck and strategy for the Life element in the original post to reflect the change from Carapace Shield to Thorn Carapace. I changed the sell order as well to a faster setup.

I remember you mentioned something about this earlier -  but what about the Fire deck, is that due for an update too?  I suggest either focusing on Immolations or on Fire Bolts, mixing the strategy doesn't work.

And i suggest making some steps to make them all sortoff t50 viable, if its doable.

Also, about the Fire deck.... I made that a while back and there have been new cards introduced and better strategies suggested since then. I'll update it when I get the chance.

mizzle this looks really good for newbies, wish i'd seen this thread when i was first starting although i did manage somehow to end up with a shrieker rush at the beginning... anyways, i think you should add a few rainbows to this deck list so that even if they can't afford them initially at least the newbies sort of know what people are talking about when they say "rainbow" (i was a bit confused as to what a "rainbow" was when i first started)...

...here are a few low-cost rainbows that work really well for AI3 (and you can even take them to t50 and do well if you want):

It is possible to build Shrieker Rush without having to play any games. (Probably with the other decks too.)

Pick your element as Darkness. (It makes the most when selling cards.

Take out and sell the following:

1* Black Dragon
4* Devourer
3* Parasite
1* Dusk Mantle
1* Steal

Buy and put the following in your deck:
14* Stone Pillars
6* Graboids

Take out and sell the following:

6* Obsidian Pillars
2* Steal
1* Nightfall
3* Drain Life
4* Aether Pillars
1* Spark
1* Lightning
1* Parallel Universe
1* Immortal

Buy and put the following in your deck:

3* Stone Pillars
6* Shriekers

Change your mark to time.

There you have it, Shrieker Rush.


The deck cost 840 to make, so any deck that cost 840 or less could be built without playing a single game.

[Retribution]

For the air starter deck, I think that you should use unstable gases instead of wyrms.
You could also throw in a defrag in there as well, solves permanents, and unstable gases can also be crowd control.
