Maybe I'm wrong but I have a far better time making electrum in the PVP1 section. If I can win 20 games there I get roughly 1,000-1,500. And with better odds, as the decks aren't upped. If you were to challenge people in the arena for a couple hours you'd have a lot of electrum.

Far better as compared to what? PvP games are too slow to be farmable (you have to wait for your opponent). False Gods and Gold/Platinum is currently accepted as the best way to make money,

Sure but noobs can't just jump in and start fighting Silver/Gold/Platinum in the arena. As far as I've been able to tell without upped cards, we're pretty much stuck to PVP1, arena bronze and level 3.

Ah, good point.

PvP is a good break from farming, but not very farmable. In my opinion it's one of the parts of the game that players must find themselves.

As far as I've been able to tell without upped cards, we're pretty much stuck to PVP1, arena bronze and level 3.
You can also fight False Gods once a day (step four).

Im currently building the ccyb but lack a miracle and dont expect to get one any time soon (although i was incredibly lucky getting 2 owls eyes off 3 spins against ai3) so I was considering swapping in a reflective shield for gods such as octane (i think thats the flammable gas one), what would you reccomend?

Edit: As unupped ffq spawns fireflys, which emit light, would a hope be a good option, after all, if i fill my side with them then i could potientally hav 19 defence on my hope (1 golem + ffq being the other 2 thanks to qe).

Good guide so far. Very helpful. Having success against AI3, PvP1 and Bronze League.

Out of curiosity, do you have to choose your rare weapon to be able to fight False Gods? I remember you used to have to, but now that the False God button has been moved out of the Quest box, I'm not sure.

the problem for pvp is that, not only do you need to wait for your opponent to arrive, but also do you have to wait for him to play, a game could take 10 minutes or more.

and if you lose, you just lose as much as you earn, or maybe even worse.

There are fully unupped decks that work perfectly fine in Silver - they may perform around 50% but for a Newbie that's some pretty good cash.
