Truth be told, there are many unupgraded AI3 grinders that could benefit from the addition of a short sword.  It's very quanta-efficient for the damage you get out of it, and the AI3 bots rarely pack much permanent removal.

Much better than the Hammer for 10/12 of the decks out there. Sure hammer hits harder, but only for Earth/Grav. And it costs more. Short Sword for Warchief!

well, i'm having an idea to rev this thread up.

this weapon should have an enhancement like short/long bow and dagger/dirk

why not: If your mark is fire or entropy, you deal 1 more damage

why not put this weapon in the bandwagon of awesome?

No, it should not get a +1 bonus for mark damage. That would cause it to get +1 cost (see Hammer) and slow it down, which is not wanted in rushes.

Interestingly, there was an Other weapon being suggested that boosted w/Fire Mark though. Let me see if I can find the link.

...there was also one that was Light/Fire boosting, but it's in the Archive now.

Pardon the necro, but this thread seems to be missing its HP when flying:

Flying / Animated Stats:
Short Sword -> 3|2
Long Sword -> 6|2

Rather important note... since flown this is a bit weaker than hammer which is a 3|4 unupped or 6|4 upped
