Show me the rule stating that every new card must adhere to an existing precedent of "consistency" with previous cards. I'll give you a hint: it's not looking good for your rage post.

Unfortunately, unupgraded unstable gas decks often pick up a fire mark...

It's just Hammer/Gavel for Air.  It's adding to the card pool, which is nice.

I dont think every card added needs to bring something new. I would prefer instead of a patch with 3-5 cards each month that bring something new to the game, a patch with 15-20 cards that just add to the card pool that allow players to show their own style.

Although we are getting a lot of cards in this update too, so I dont mind that at all.

Because. Players can make decks that suit their style better, making it more fun. This game isnt all about competition.

I like the card art, streamlined and sexy.
The card itself is not very exciting.. but hey, there is nothing wrong with having another beginner card.  Not every card that is introduced has to be game changing.

Basically, I see this card as simply an alternative to gavel.
